Asa C. Adams School Newsletter
October 2024
Dear Asa Families,
October has arrived and the hint of fall weather is in the air. The first month of school has been busy and chock full with everyone adjusting to the routines of school, successful open houses, and an assembly with visiting aquatic ecologist, Solomon R. David. (See pictures later in the newsletter.) The month ahead will certainly be more of the same with NWEAs launching this week and digging deeper into the heart of teaching and learning.
Hopefully, the month of October will bring time for your family to enjoy some of the things you love most about fall. Fall in Maine can be a special time to enjoy the beautiful changing leaves and freshly harvested apples or pumpkins. However, you may choose to celebrate this season, we hope it brings a little joy and maybe a few memories. Kind regards and as always, remember we are here if you need us.
Sincerely,
Ms. Wyman and Ms. West

Parking Lot Safety at Drop-off and Pick-up
More Helpful Tips!
- Please remain in your vehicle when using the drop-off and pick-up lane.
- Only use the drop-off and pick-up lane if your child can get in and out of the vehicle by themselves.
- Your child(ren) should enter and exit the vehicle on the sidewalk or passenger side of your vehicle. It can be dangerous for them to enter or exit on the driver's side into the open parking lot or onto Goodridge Drive.
- If you are using Goodridge Drive for drop-off and pick-up, do not pass the school buses when they are loading or unloading.
- Finally, please use an abundance of caution when pulling out of the drop-off or pick-up lane. We want to ensure everyone's safety.
