Students are showing stamina in May
There are many celebrations around the school this month.
One BIG celebration is the stamina, perseverance, and dedication students are showing towards their studies in May!
- Kindergarten students are ever curious about the life cycle of their class caterpillars and check on them throughout the day like keen scientists! 🌻
- Grade 1 students are digging in on writing more challenging words and are using them in daily sentence writing. 🙌
- Grade 6 students are pushing through the complexities of mathematical functions, useful in commercial sales, detecting trends in health care, and Amazon warehousing, among many other industries! 🍉
Safety Drills in Focus in Spring
We are practicing evacuation drills and shelter in place drills in May & June.
Classes are doing an amazing job walking quietly, assembling quickly in our muster area, and waiting patiently for further instructions during fire drills.
During shelter in place, students will be practicing sitting quietly away from windows in case of severe weather.
Celebrating Diversity
Great efforts from all mixed doubles teams this season!
Thank you and Farewell!
Mrs. Richert has organized our Turtle Islanders group and the 7 Teachings activities each month; she assists the student recycling leaders and can be found teaching in the library learning commons or out on supervision each day.
The lucky folks at Fort Elementary School will be welcoming Mrs. Richert to their team in the fall. We wish her all the best!
