Introducing Argyle High School's Valedictorian & Salutatorian!
We are very proud of these two Eagles who have worked so hard soaring to the top of the class! Both will be featured in the district's soon-to-be released AISD Insights magazine.
After graduation, Caroline is headed to Texas A&M to major in aerospace engineering. Kate Vest is also bound for Texas A&M to study political science. The magazine will feature a fun Q&A with both students. In a salute to Teacher Appreciation Week, here is one of the questions for both from the interview:
Which Argyle ISD teacher impacted you the most and why?
Caroline Deffenbaugh: "The Argyle ISD teacher that impacted me the most is Coach Russell Perkins. Coach Perkins has been teaching me in math since I was in seventh grade. He is my UIL coach, my Algebra II teacher, and he let me travel with his basketball team for years. His mentorship and guidance throughout my high school career have made me who I am and helped me achieve this great honor."
Kate Vest: "Mrs. Hadley. She has been my UIL coach since my sophomore year and was also my AP Language teacher junior year. She introduced me to literary criticism, which has been my favorite part of high school, but she also has supported and encouraged me as a person when I felt like I was only a student and nothing else."
Yay Teachers! Teacher Appreciation Week 🍎
What a great week it has been celebrating our amazing teachers! They do an incredible job every day leading, inspiring and guiding our Eagles from kindergarten through 12th grade. The impact they make lasts a lifetime.
All week our teachers have been shown how much they mean to our families and community. This week the campus PTO/PTAs and Eagle Partners have provided food, gifts and treats to make them feel special!
Thank you, Argyle ISD Teachers!!

As a dedicated bus driver, he ensures the safety and well-being of every student, knowing each one by name. Always wearing a smile, Mr. Dale tackles his job with pride and excellence.

South Elementary Class Hosts Publishing Party! 🥳
This year, her class chose to write a creative writing piece and let their imaginations run wild! The kids worked tremendously hard through the entire writing process. Their favorite part was getting to become illustrators of their own cover pages to their story. Her class was chosen to be part of the National Book Challenge to possibly be recognized nationally and have their book featured on their website!
What better way to celebrate her students than an Under the Sea SURPRISE Publishing Party. The class had lunch together as a family while students shared their stories from the book. They also hosted a book signing where students autographed their story featured in each peer's book!
What an incredible experience for our Eagles students!
