Penn Brook Elementary School

It was great seeing you last week at PIN. We hope you learned some great information and got a sense of the learning experiences your students will engage in throughout the school year.

We have heard from a few families that they are having trouble getting in touch with the school by telephone. We have been experiencing some telephone difficulties. If you get the voice mail PLEASE leave a message. We check the voicemail frequently and will call you back. The office phone is not answered during dismissal because we are all assisting students however if you leave a message we will get back to you as soon as possible.

All dismissal changes should be captured in Pick Up Patrol prior to 1pm. If you have an emergency and must change your students dismissal plan after 1pm please call the office.

The office is open from 8am - 3:30pm. If you are calling regarding a bus issue after 3:30pm please call Tracy Parker in the Superintendent's office at (978) 352-5777. She is in the office until 4pm.

The doors open at 8:30am. We do not have any supervision for students prior to 8:30am unless they are enrolled in the extended day program. Please do not drop your student off at school before the doors open at 8:30am.

Please follow the flow of traffic and once you are along the side walk your child can safely exit the car onto the sidewalk and walk into the building. Please make sure that your student exits on the passenger side so they safely are on the side walk.

Kindergarten families should park and walk their children to the Kindergarten door. If a 1st - 6th grade student is getting dropped off with their Kindergarten sibling they should walk along the side walk to the front door. ONLY Kindergarten students should enter through the Kindergarten door.

Any changes to your students dismissal plan must be captured in Pick Up Patrol by 1pm at the latest. We will follow the plan that is indicated in Pick Up Patrol.

Families waiting for Kindergarten dismissal or Kindergarten siblings please make sure that children with you are supervised at all times and following the Penn Brook rules. Once you have your children please exit the school grounds so that the staff can supervise students still waiting for their ride to come. There are a lot of moving parts and traffic during dismissal so we appreciate everyone doing their part to help keep students safe.

Breakfast will be grab and go style. Students will pick up their breakfast if they choose in the cafeteria in the morning and then go to their classroom.
