I would like to welcome everyone to the 2024-2025 school year. Our teachers have been working hard to prepare exciting and engaging lessons for our students. The first day of school is Wednesday, August 14th at 7:15am. Please note the start time this year will be 7:15am. Seniors, I encourage you to meet at the Oak Ridge football stadium at 6:50am on Wednesday for senior sunrise. Seniors will walk in together from the stadium to start the year.
All students will report to homeroom on the first and second day of school. 9th graders will report to the 9th grade campus while 10th-12th graders will report to the senior campus. Homeroom locations will be posted through-out the school. During homeroom, students will receive their schedules, a school ID, and reminders of the school's policies. Students should bring paper, pen and pencil on the first day along with a positive learning mindset. Also note, we will be dismissing at 2:20 the first three days of school to help keep transportation on schedule. If your student is riding the bus, please register on the district's website at https://www.conroeisd.net/transportation/.
The district is asking for parents to "Get Involved" in district planning decisions. The deadline to apply for DLPDMC and Attendance Boundary Committee submission is this Thursday, August 15th. We want to make sure everyone has the opportunity to apply! Please see the link below for more information as well as to sign up.

Our theme this year is Celebrate OuR story! We will protecting the past, investing in the present, and planning for the future. Through-out the year we will be sharing our success stories with you about our Oak Ridge students, staff and feeder.
Mark you calendars for Monday, August 19th for Open House. The time is from 5:30-7:00pm. This will be a come and go event to visit your student's classes, teachers, and to see what they will be learning this year.
I am excited for this year and look forward to seeing our students on Wednesday.
