Message From The Principal

Hello Tiger Family,

What a wonderful week of celebration and recognition for so many of our Tigers! It’s a reminder of how our community is thriving, with our families, students, and school at the center of it all. On any given day, you can attend multiple student-led events, and our Tigers are out there making the entire community proud. Be sure to take a look at the calendar for the next two weeks, as we will have performances, showcases, games, and various events. It’s a beautiful sight to see your children and our Tigers making us proud every step of the way.

I'd like to remind everyone that we are now in the final two weeks of the third six weeks. It’s important for our students to communicate with their teachers to ensure that all expectations are met for a successful end to this semester. As always, we are here to support you. Please feel free to reach out to your child's teachers, counselors, or administration if you have any questions or concerns. Points of Emphasis and Reminders

🎄 Finish Strong, Tiger Families! 🐯

The holiday season is almost here, there will be just three short weeks left until Christmas break! While the excitement is building, this is a crucial time for our students to stay focused and finish the semester strong. Please remind your Tiger to focus on:

Follow Dress Code Guidelines: No crop tops or shirts that show midriffs (jackets cannot be used to cover our of dress code layers), No pajama pants or slippers. Shorts, skirts, and dresses must be no more than a dollar bill’s length above the knee.

Be in Class and on TIme Daily: students with over 9 absences in semester courses or 18 in year-long courses will be denied credit, even if they pass. Excessive absences will require makeup hours to meet graduation requirements.

🎄 Attendance Matters This Holiday Season! 🎄

Parents, as we approach the holidays, we want to stress the importance of attendance during these next few weeks. 🎓✅ With the 3rd six weeks grading period and the semester coming to a close, it’s crucial for your student to attend school every day and go to every class.

You can stay informed by checking their attendance in the Home Access Center or contacting our attendance clerks for assistance. Let’s finish the semester strong! 💪📚

🐾 Keeping Our School Clean: A Message to Parents 🐾

Parents, we need your help in talking to your child about the importance of taking care of our school. 🏫💙 Recently, we’ve had issues with bathroom equipment being tampered with and trash left behind during Tiger Time when students eat outside the cafeteria.

It’s everyone’s responsibility to keep our campus clean and safe, and we’d hate to reevaluate Tiger Time due to these concerns. Please remind your student that respecting our school environment shows pride in being part of our community. Thank you for your support! 🌟🗑️

The holiday season can bring joy, but it can also be a challenging time for some students. Changes in mood, behavior, or academic performance may signal that your child is feeling overwhelmed or struggling emotionally. We want you to know that help is always available here at school.
