Johnson Newsletter
November 17, 2024
Dear JES parents and guardians,
Hold onto your holiday hats, folks—it's that magical time of year again! Elementary school is about to burst into a whirlwind of festive fun, and I can't wait to dive into the events, dress-up days, and traditions at JES! For all you planners out there, I've included the dress-up day schedule right into this newsletter!
This week is American Education Week. When I was a teacher, my most cherished gifts were kind words from parents and students. I still have many of them in my desk 20+ years later! I would like your help letting school staff know how special they are! I am including a Google form you can fill out to let any staff member know you are grateful for who they are and the good work they do at JES! This can be for office staff, the nurse, the counselor, bus drivers, aides, tutors, teachers, custodians, or lunch ladies! You can also fill this out more than once! I'll make sure your heartfelt messages flood our staff with appreciation!
Wishing everyone a fantastic week! (And keep your eyes peeled for possible snow flurries on Thursday...brrr!)
