Cheer Team Captures Sectional Crown!
Congratulations to our Titan Cheerleaders who took the brick at last weekend's competition. They will be travelling to Binghamton this weekend for their state competition. Good Luck!
Indoor Track athletes moving on to States!
At A1 Sectionals, the boys placed 8th and the girls 6th. Jada K placed 2nd and L was 4th. Siera S was 4th in the 600m and Patrick K was 5th in the mile. The girls 4x4 placed 4th with a season best and running was Brooke S, Kaylee F, Delaney S and Siera S. Max B placed 3rd in both shot put and weight throw, Ellie S and Wylie V were both 5th in their weight throw and both with a personal best throw. Jenna D vaulted to her PR of 9' in pole vault and Aidyn H placed 3rd in his vault competition. Gianna L was 6th in the triple jump.
Over the break at Friday night's State Qualifier meet, Lei S ran 2 personal bests in both heats of her 55 hurdles, placing 3rd with an 8.93. Gianna L broke her own school record in the triple jump with a 35'2" jump.
Heading off to the state meet this coming Saturday in Staten Island are Jane C in the shot put and Jada K who brought down her school record time in the 55 hurdles finishing with an 8.71.
Thomas also has four swimmers who have qualified for the state meet. Congratulations to Maksim A., Caleb C., John M., and Micah S. who are travelling to Ithaca College to take on the state's best.

The Lakers are sending 5 swimmers to the NYSPHSAA Swim Championships this weekend - Micah S , Max A, Caleb C , Jon M and Jack F will represent Webster.

Celebrating Black Art A Success!
A HUGE Shout out to our Dream Club and Black and Brown Student Union for organizing last evening's Celebration of Black Art. We had a nice sized crowd in the media center's Skylight Cafe to celebrate Black art through jazz, poetry and songs. What a great event!! A special shout out to graduting senior Lauryn W. who served as the event's emcee. Enjoy some pictures from the night!

Attention Seniors: The common application for senior awards is now available in the counseling center. The applications are due back no later than Wednesday, March 27th at 3:30. Please read all directions carefully. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.
PreACT Exam is a practice ACT Exam
The PreACT is a practice ACT exam we offer sophomores. This practice exam is being held on Saturday, March 9th here at Thomas from 7:30am-11:30am. The cost is $18.00 and registration forms are available in the counseling center or at the link below.
ASVAB Exam for grades 10-12
The ASVAB exam is a multi aptitude exam for high school students that helps align your skills with your interests. This exam may help you explore future career goals. This is a free exam that is open to anyone in grades 10 through 12. The exam is on Saturday, March 16th at 9:00am here at Thomas. Pick up your registration form in the counseling center or at the link below.
Common Application for junior awards
Attention Juniors: The common application for junior college awards is now available in the counseling center. This application contains awards and scholarship money to colleges such as RIT, U of R, Clarkson and other area colleges. Pick up your application today in the counseling center. Deadline for completed applications is March 22, 2024.
Colleges visiting Thomas this spring
The following colleges are coming to Thomas starting at the end of February. D'Youville, Le Moyne, Embry Riddle Aeronautical and Morrisville. Sign up to visit them in the counseling center.
Teen Police Summer Academy
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is holding their teen police academy this summer. This is a free week-long camp that consists of physical training, classroom instruction and reality-based training. Applications are available in the counseling center.
SUNY Geneseo - field trip for juniors
Attention Juniors: The counseling department is taking a field trip to SUNY Geneseo on Monday, March 18th .The visit includes a presentation, tour of the campus and lunch. Pick up your permission slip in the counseling center. Spots are limited.

Rochester National College Fair

Spring Driver Education information
Spring Driver Education information will be online February 21 here https://registration.xendirect.com/webstercsd/search.cfm. Seniors and juniors may register at 8 am on March 5 and if spaces are available, sophomores may register on March 6. Students must have their permit by the start of the class, which is April 10. The end date for driver ed spring session is June 6.
