Building Student Resilience Through Shared Resources
Going back to school can bring many big feelings. Students and families may feel excitement, anxiety, fear, and more as they return to school year routines. We’ve updated our Back to School resources to help parents and caregivers, educators, and students navigate back to school time, together.
Navigating the challenges of academics, social dynamics, and personal growth can be overwhelming but, together, we can build a resilient and thriving community. Our resources aim to support educators, guide parents, and empower students on their mental health journey during the school year and beyond. From NAMI
Building Healthy Relationships with Media: Essential Skills for Children 10 and Younger
Children build media habits and preferences from a very young age. These practical strategies build balance, critical thinking, self-regulation, and safety skills for toddlers through elementary school-aged children.
This handout was developed in partnership with the Kids Online Health and Safety Task Force, which is co-led by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, in close partnership with the U.S. Department of Commerce.
