I hope you all had a wonderful Labor Day weekend.

This Friday, progress reports will be issued. These are the grades that will determine eligibility for athletics. On Thursday afternoon at 4pm, we will have a Coffee with the Principal meeting where you will have a chance to ask questions and learn more about our school and how to support your student.

If your student chooses to ride their bike, skateboard, or scooter to school. They must secure them in the storage area located by the library and by the new gym. They will not be allowed on campus. We do have skateboard lockers and chains available, but students must bring their own lock. Any standard combination lock will work for the skateboard lockers. Mar Vista High is not responsible for theft or vandalism of these transportation items.

If you leave a message; please include your name and relation to student, students name, birthday, date of absence, reason for absence, and include what periods were missed.

If your student is absent due to a medical reason or appointment, please email a screenshot or scan of the doctor’s note with the above information to David.delrio@sweetwaterschools.org . Emails will only be accepted to excuse absences if they are sent from a parent or guardian’s email address on file in infinite campus.
