Walnut Wolves

A Message from Mrs. Gonzales
Hello Walnut Families,
As we close out this incredible school year, I want to take a moment to share my deep appreciation for each and every one of you. It has been an honor to watch our students shine and achieve remarkable things!! From August to the final bell this Thursday, their growth, determination, and compassion have made us proud!
This year, we have grown in so many ways – not just academically, but as a community. We have cheered each other on, supported one another through challenges, and celebrated every success, big and small. It is this unwavering sense of family that makes Walnut Avenue such a special place, and I am so grateful to be a part of it.
I am also excited to share that next school year, Mr. Choi will be joining us full-time! His dedication to our students and staff has been a tremendous asset, and having him here every day will only strengthen our amazing team.
❗❗End-of-Year Schedule Update ❗❗
As we enter the final week, I want to remind you of an important schedule adjustment:
-
5/19-Monday: Regular Day
-
5/20-Tuesday: Regular Day (NOT a minimum day) This is a change!
-
5/21-Wednesday: Regular Day
-
5/22-Thursday: Minimum Day (last day of school)
Please note that we have moved our minimum day to the last day of school, Thursday, to provide our students with a special send-off.
A special thank you to our incredible PFA and dedicated volunteers, whose time and effort have made our school events unforgettable. Your support brings our community together and creates lasting memories for our students. We would also like to give a special shout-out to Mr. Lesure, who has graciously donated pizza for the students of Walnut Avenue. Thank you for your generosity and for helping make our students’ end-of-year celebrations even more special!
As you head into the summer break, I hope you find time to rest, recharge, and make beautiful memories with your loved ones. Thank you for trusting us with your children’s growth and learning. It means the world to us.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Mrs. Gonzales
