AT&T Wi-Fi Calling
A helpful option..?
IF your device has the capability:
If your device is capable, you can ask them to provision your line for Wi-Fi calling.
When it is active you turn on the feature on your phone and complete the setup.
It can take up to 12 hours of waiting for the provisioning to complete, but mine was finished within an hour. It was as simple as a text chat session online with an AT&T account rep on their website after I logged into my account and only took about 10 minutes.
The way Wi-Fi calling works is that, in cases where you have good Wi-Fi signal but poor cell coverage and the necessary connection to the cell service can be made via Wi-Fi (such as is normally the case on our wireless network here at the district), your call will be routed through the IP network instead of over-the-air with the normal cellular network.
I just wanted to let everyone know that it is available and can be handy."

WE HOPE THIS HELPS!!
P.S. -
"What if we have Sprint? Is there anything available for this provider?"
According to the information HERE at Sprint's FAQ page for Wi-Fi calling, the situation is very similar.
Depends on the phone, itself, primarily.
But, please refer to Sprint for in-depth information, as we do not have a staff member that has verified the process/capabilities.
THANKS for your question!!
