Message from the Superintendent
Welcome to the May 16, 2022 Edition of The Blueprint!
The weather seems to be cooperating more and spring is finally showing better weather. Monday, May 16, 2022 will begin our final six (6) weeks of the academic year. As we continue to move forward, please join me in encouraging our scholars to remain dedicated and vigilant towards their academic assignments until the final day of school. It is extremely important that they do not allow the momentum to wane and that they complete this year strongly.
The Board of Education approved the 2022 Summer Camp and its rates as well as the rates for the 2022-2023 Before and After Care Program. Information is included in The Blueprint; on the District’s Website; and will also be shared on our social media platforms. Please submit applications and payments to the attention of Mrs. Margaret Contaldi, Human Resources Secretary.
The numbers for COVID-19 have increased and, as a result, our region has been elevated to ORANGE. As of now, the district will remain “mask optional”; however, I encourage parents to speak with your children to determine if your child(ren) may need to resume wearing masks for a period of time. Although it is not our immediate intention, please be reminded that the district has a right to reinstitute the mask requirement should we deem it necessary for the health, safety, and well-being of everyone. We will continue to monitor the situation and advise accordingly.
Take care,
Dr. Frederick D. Williams, Superintendent
