LAWRENCE RODAMER ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIP
This Goodridge Elementary Alumni Lawrence Rodamer Scholarship Award will be given to a student who attended Goodridge Elementary School and has contributed to the community and his/her school while maintaining solid academic standards. This Scholarship Award will be used for continued education at a four year or two year college, or a specialized or technical school program.
The Goodridge Elementary Family Resource Center Advisory Council will award a $500 Goodridge Elementary Alumni Lawrence Rodamer Scholarship to a graduating senior in Boone County who meets the following requirements. In the event the scholarship committee deems it worthwhile, they may award an additional scholarship.

Anthony Munoz Scholarship Fund
Developed through Anthony and his family’s passion to help deserving students reach their dreams of attending a local college or university, the Foundation’s Scholarship Fund awards multiple $20,000 scholarships to select Tri-State high school seniors. Students are interviewed and chosen based on their financial need, academic achievement, ability to overcome adversity and their ambition to succeed.
Applications for the scholarship fund will be accepted starting January 1st, 2018 through May 1st, 2018.
Eligibility Requirements
Recipients of The Anthony Muñoz Scholarship Fund must meet several requirements to apply for this scholarship.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Attend a high school in our Tri-State Area of Impact.
Planning to attend or entering an eligible Tri-State college or university. Is your school not listed? Check our list of Ineligible Schools.
Display a desire to overcome adversity and demonstrate a financial need.

Awards
Multiple $20,000 scholarships will be awarded in 2018. The award shall be renewable only if the recipient(s) meets eligibility and performance requirements as stated by in the application.

4031 Ministries Scholarship
Each year 4031 Ministries grants one college scholarship to a young man and one to a young woman. Both of these scholarships are of equal amount, and funds awarded range between $500 and $5000, depending upon the year.
2018 the scholarship amounts are $4,031 each.
Scholarship Application Deadline EXTENDED TO April 30, 2018.
These scholarships are named in honor of Joan Maxwell, Julie McKay, and George W. Meade. Persons eligible for the scholarships are college-bound high school seniors with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
Bill "Buster" Petty Scholarship
Please see link below for scholarship application. Applicants are required to also include a resume that includes all academic honors, extracurricular activities including years involved, community service projects and organization, work experiences and career goals. Applicants must also include the total cost of tuition, books, fees, etc., a list of all scholarships and grants received to date, and other information you'd like to include.
FarmHouse Fraternity KY Chapter 2018 Scholarship Program
* Seeking graduating male seniors with a record of volunteerism in the community in non-school sponsored activities and participation in extracurricular school activities.
* Applicants must plan to attend the University of Kentucky in the fall of 2018.
* Scholarship funds will be paid during the month of August 2018—directly to the college, not the student. The scholarship fund will be issued to the University of Kentucky upon receiving a certificate of enrollment for the fall semester, which includes the Student ID number and Financial Aid Office address.

Lydia Sheerer Memorial Scholarship
A one page resume listing the applicant’s contact information--email and phone , school activities, community involvement, special recognitions and awards received in high school. Also, list any work experience during the high school years.
• A 300-word essay discussing how involvement with Cinderella’s Closet has impacted the applicant and any future goals related to education and/or career.
• A copy of the applicant’s high school transcript.
• A letter of recommendation from the school counselor that referred the applicant to Cinderella’s Closet.
• A picture of the recipient (preferably from Cinderella’s Closet or prom)
Recipients will be notified by May 1 by Cinderella's Closet.

Woman's City Club of Greater Cincinnati Scholarship
Each winner, along with her parent or guardian, will be guests at the Seasongood Luncheon held at the Quality Hotel on Friday, May 25. Winners will be presented at that time. Awards are to be used to help pursue an educational goal at an institute of higher learning. Awards are presented in the form of a check to the student and may be used for any peripheral costs other than tuition if the awardee so desires.

2018 BBB® Students of Integrity Scholarship
Description
The Students of Integrity (SOI) Scholarship showcases local high school students who demonstrate exceptional ethical reasoning skills. Up to four one-time $1,000 scholarships are awarded annually to high school seniors who use the Center’s five-part decision-making process to resolve an ethical dilemma in essay format. The scholarship money is intended for post-secondary education expenses at any accredited university, college (including community colleges), or vocational training institution (including any two-year institution.)
Starting in 2018, the inaugural Thomas J. Klinedinst, Jr. SOI Scholarship will be awarded to the top SOI winner, empowering that student to further his/her educational career with an extra $1,000, bringing the one-time scholarship amount to $2,000 total. Good luck!
Eligibility
SOI is open to high school seniors who will graduate in 2018 and reside in BBB Cincinnati’s twenty-county service area (Adams, Brown, Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Gallia, Hamilton, Highland, Jackson, Lawrence, Pike, Scioto, and Warren counties in Ohio; Boone, Campbell, and Kenton counties in Kentucky; and Dearborn, Ohio, Ripley, and Switzerland counties in Indiana).
Relatives of the selection committee/BBB Cincinnati’s Board of Directors/the Center’s Board of Directors are not eligible to apply. Employees/relatives of BBB/BBB Center for Ethics are not eligible to apply.

NKBIA STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP -- Application Deadline -- May 1, 2018
Scholarship Criteria:
1. Entering his/her freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior year, and in good standing.
2. Be a current resident living in one of the following counties in the Commonwealth of Kentucky at the time of application: Campbell, Kenton, Boone, Grant, Mason, Bracken, Pendleton, Owen, Carroll, or Gallatin.
3. Enrolled or enrolling full-time in an accredited institute of higher learning in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and in good standing with most recent school.
4. Working toward a bachelor’s or associate or advanced degree in a code related field of study such as, but not limited to: Architecture, Engineering, Construction Technology, or Fire Science.
5. The intent of this award is to promote code related studies; the applicant does not have to be related to a person employed in the code enforcement field, but relatives should not be excluded.

AABE (American Association of Blacks in Energy)
The American Association of Blacks in Energy is a professional association composed of African Americans in the energy industry. Through its Scholarship Program, the Association seeks to help increase the number of African Americans, Hispanics and Native Americans (underrepresented minorities) in energy related fields. By doing so, we help our nation address a critical need and a challenge to our future economic vitality in the world market.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a new scholarship, all four (4) of the following requirements must be met:
1. The student must have an unweighted academic average of ''B" or better (3.0 on a
4.0 scale).
2. The student must be a graduating high school senior who intends to enroll the next semester following high school graduation in an accredited college or university.
3. The student must plan to major in business, one of the physical sciences, technology, engineering or mathematic fields·in preparation for a career in the energy sector.

Mary Hood Lutes Scholarship (Boone County Extension Homemakers)
NIAAA / KHSADA Student Athlete Scholarship
Purpose of Scholarship
In accordance with National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association's (NIAAA) and the Kentucky High School Athletic Directors Association's (KHSADA) purpose to promote, facilitate and increase the knowledge and understanding of the vital role of interscholastic athletics in the educational system, this scholarship program will foster and recognize the partnership between the NIAAA, KHSADA and secondary education. The scholarships will recognize the distinguished scholastic, leadership and sportsmanship attributes of high school student-athletes, and the importance of high school athletics in each student's life.
Scholarship Criteria and Requirements
• Applicant must be a senior in high school
• Applicant must have achieved at least two (2) of the following: (a) minimum of B+ average; (b)ranked in the top 25% of class; (c) ACT score of 24 or an SAT score of 1100 (Verbal and Math)
• Applicant must have participated in two sports for at least two years in each sport
• Applicant must have earned at least one varsity letter in each of two sports
• Applicant must complete attached scholar/essay application
• Applicant must have a letter of recommendation from the high school athletic administrator/director
• School athletic administrator/director must be an NIAAA member and a member of their respective state athletic administrators association
• The principal or athletic administrator/director must sign the application to ensure that the academic information submitted is accurate

2018 Agriculture Athlete of the Year
The KHSAA has teamed with the Kentucky Department of Agriculture to create new college scholarship opportunities for student-athletes involved in agriculture. As part of the 2018 Whitaker Bank/KHSAA Boys’ Sweet 16® (March 14-18), the KHSAA and the Department of Agriculture will award six $1,000 scholarships to three male and three female senior student-athletes, with the honorees recognized as the 2018 Kentucky Ag Athletes of the Year.
“The Kentucky Department of Agriculture is honored to be partnering up with the Kentucky High School Athletic Association to provide this scholarship opportunity for students who balance agricultural and athletic interests,” said Commissioner of Agriculture Ryan Quarles. “It is my hope that the 2018 Kentucky Ag Athletes will be able to use these $1,000 scholarships to further their education and ultimately give back to their communities.”
Interested students will complete the online application and provide all requested information by February 26th. As part of the application process, students will be required to submit a short 500-word essay on the challenge of balancing their agricultural responsibilities with athletic participation. Finalists will also be asked to provide two letters of recommendation (one centered around their involvement in agriculture, and one focused on their athletic career).
Boone County Education Association Scholarship
The Boone County Education Association has a non-renewable scholarship available to a senior student majoring in education. There will be one, $1,000 scholarship given to a senior from each of the four district high schools.
To qualify, the senior must submit a completed application form, two letters of recommendation, and a copy of their transcript no later than 5:00 PM, March 10th They must also agree to attend a scholarship dinner on May 15th to accept
the scholarship.

Florence Rotary Scholarship
The Florence Rotary Club is giving one $1,000 scholarship to a graduating senior from each of the 7 Boone County High Schools. Up to 8 students from each high school will be interviewed from the applications that are received on or before the postmark deadline of March 23, 2018.

Gateway Scholarship Opportunities
We offer dozens of scholarships at Gateway. Some are general scholarships for students in any field, while some are dedicated to students in specific majors.
2018-2019 scholarship applications for currently enrolled high school students are due March 1, 2018. High school scholarship applicants must complete and/or submit all of the following:
- The college admission process
- Scholarship application
- Two letters of recommendation from non-relatives (submit to Gateway Community & Technical College, Financial Aid Department, Attn: Linda Wright, 516 Madison Ave., Covington, KY 41011)
- Up to a one page personal essay.
Many of the scholarships require review of the applicant’s financial need. This will be determined by the Financial Aid Office using the results of your 2018 – 2019 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The 2018 – 2019 FAFSA is available at www.fafsa.ed.gov

Scholarship for current seniors in Dual Credit Classes
Interested students need to fill out the attached application and submit to Shelby Krentz by March 28th. There are limited funds available. Students will be notified if they are awarded the scholarship in early April. This is a one-time award for freshmen year. Criteria for getting the scholarship is listed below.
- Must have taken dual credit courses with GCTC during high school.
- Must be attending Gateway in fall 2018 as degree seeking freshman.
- Have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 in high school.
- Must be enrolled into fall classes by May 1st.
- Must have filled out the FAFSA form.
- To maintain the scholarship for spring of their Freshman year, students must earn a 2.75 GPA in their college courses.
**There is a form attached that a school official must fill out as well.**
Deadline to get the application back to Shelby Krentz is March 28th by 4pm.
This is a gap funding scholarship that can cover tuition, fees and books.

MG Law Scholarship
- The scholarship must be submitted, in full, by July 1, 2018. LATE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

Kentucky Work Ready Scholarship
Students can attend college for free if they are going into one of the following 5 fields: Advanced Manufacturing, Healthcare, Construction, IT/Business, and Logistics. There are certain programs within these areas that you can choose from!
To apply for the Work Ready Scholarship, you need to be a U.S. citizen, be a Kentucky resident, have a high school diploma or GED (or be working towards your GED with AOKY), have not earned an associate degree or higher, be enrolled in or accepted to an eligible postsecondary institution in an approved program of study, and not be in default on any obligation to KHEAA.
You’ll begin by enrolling in an eligible program offered at one of our 16 colleges and completing the Free Application for Student Federal Aid (FASFA). From there, once you’re accepted, register for an account at KHEAA.com and complete the Work Ready Kentucky Scholarship Application Form.

Association of the United States Army The Major Samuel Woodfill Chapter 2018 Scholarship Program
The Major Samuel Woodfill Chapter announces its 2018 Scholarship Program for Children and Spouses of U.S. Army Soldiers in the Global War on Terrorism, Army Soldiers and Army Veterans who are currently serving or have served in the Global War on Terrorism, and Family Members of AUSA Members who belong to the Major Samuel Woodfill Chapter in that priority. Also priority is given to residents of Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio. $1,000 scholarships will be awarded for the 2018-2019 academic year. The scholarship program is available to first-time freshman and returning college students. The scholarship can be used for tuition and fees, and room and board.

1st Annual Divorce Matters Scholarship
Divorce Matters is pleased to offer our 1st Annual Divorce Matters Scholarship.
This scholarship is available to high school seniors and current college students nationwide who have been personally affected by a divorce. At our law firm, we know life gets complicated and that divorce is sometimes necessary. Our goal is to help students affected by divorce afford a better education.

- The scholarship is a one-time award of $2,500

Kentucky Society of Professional Engineers Scholarship Program
This scholarship is for upcoming graduates who are interested in pursuing a degree in Engineering at an ABET-EAC accredited college. An amount of $8,000.00 will be awarded and distributed in increments of $2,000.00 per year as long as a 3.0 GPA is maintained and the applicant remains in the engineering field. UEW Healthcare is pleased to offer the UEW Healthcare EEOICPA Scholarship. The Scholarship is open nationwide to those who will be attending college fall semester of 2018. Special consideration will be give to an undergraduate who is interested in pursuing a career in Home Healthcare and knows someone that worked in the nuclear industry and was subsequently approved for benefits under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program (EEOICPA), but anyone meeting the requirements & can demonstrate an interested in pursuing a career in Healthcare will be considered. This Award will be presented to current college students, but high school seniors who will be attending school in the fall semester of 2018 are also welcome to apply.
The award will be presented to a college student who is enrolled by the fall semester of 2018, but will not have graduated by fall semester of 2018 & is still attending courses at this time. This will be a one-time award.
The Scholarship will be judged on merit and need. Academic achievements as well as any leadership experiences will be taken in to account.

Application Process:
Please send us a short essay (500 - 1,000 words) answering the following questions:
- How did your participation in sports during your high school years influence you?
- Has your participation influenced your career goals?
- Has your participation influenced how you relate to your family?
Who is eligible to apply?
All student athletes are eligible regardless of the sport they are engaged in or the capacity in which they participate. The student must be a high school senior or be attending a post secondary institute.
Please remember to include your name and the name of the school that you are attending.

Lincoln/William Grant Legacy Scholarship Award
Criteria to apply:
The purpose of the Foundation is to provide scholarship support to generational, biological descendants of former students, teachers, administrators, and/or support staff of the former Lincoln-Grant School or the former William Grant High School, or those who can demonstrate an otherwise qualified relationship to former affiliates of these institutions.
