Good evening, Evergreen families!

We have completed another amazing week here at Evergreen! This week we had two students, Rafael in fourth grade and Sofia in third grade, represent Evergreen by reading their writing samples at Tuesday’s school board meeting. They were amazing!

Thank you for attending your student’s conference this week! Many of our classrooms had 100% attendance! This is a great start to working as a team in your child’s learning.

This Friday, November 1st, is our monthly Wildcat Assembly. If your student is being acknowledged for the word of the month, collaboration, their teacher will reach out to you so you may join us. Please do not tell them so they are surprised at the assembly.

Our Veterans Day Assembly will be on November 8th. Please send any photos of Veterans in your family for the slide show we will present by November 4th. All photos should be sent to Ms. Barnes at kbarnes@sheltonschools.org or a copy brought into the music room.

Current after school activities are soccer on Tuesday and Thursday. Choir on Thursday mornings.

Our goals are improving reading skills and attendance! Two ways you can help are reading time at home daily and prioritizing school attendance.
