A Message from Ms. Curry
It was wonderful to see so many of our families at Parent Teacher Conferences. I hope you found them meaningful and informative.
We are still collecting Halloween candy for our candy give back program. You can drop it off in the main lobby.
Don't forget to wear Red, White, and Blue on Monday as we celebrate Veteran's Day. Thank you to everyone who completed a frame for our Wall of Honor. It is a beautiful tribute to our servicemen and women.
SHSP News:

Notes from our School Nurse, Mrs. Suzanne Herbst
It is that sweet time of the year! Apple picking, cider donuts and confused bees! Bee and wash nests are mature when fall arrives which means more bees and wasps are sent out in search of food for themselves and their queen. So you're seeing these insects more frequently simply because there are more of them and they're on the move. Bees continue to forage for nectar and pollen as long as temperatures are above 55 degrees. They're looking for carbohydrates and sweets, which are their primary energy source! They get a little confused in this changing weather so careful! Here is more information on what to do if you are stung by a bee or wasp.
