Thank you to Dr. Alicia Derwin and "Read for No Reason" staff for sponsoring Friday's book fair. Each student received two free books to add to their classroom libraries.

1. Quarter 3 AWARDS Day

2. Art Showcase and Title One Spring Data Presentation (Pt.2)
- Come join us for our Spring Art showcase on April 25th. We will have special presentations presented by students. This is sponsored by our related arts department.
- We will also present part 2 of our Spring Title One Data.
- The program will begin at 6pm.
3. Scholastic Book Fair:
- We will be hosting our "Buy One, Get One Free" Book Fair (April 20 - April 28, 2023)
- 8:00am - 2:00pm
- Flyers will be sent home w/ more details.
4. Girls on the Run 5K Run
- Our "Girls on the Run" are geared up and ready for our upcoming 5K run in Columbia. Members will participate this Saturday, April 29th. Please root them on !
5. Percussion Ensemble and Chorus Concert:
- We look forward to seeing you Saturday, April 29th at the "Festival on the Ave".
- Our Chorus and Percussion Ensemble will be performing.
- The event will occur on Manning Avenue.
6. Yearbooks
- Yearbooks are going on sale for the 22-23 school year.

7. PreK and Kindergarten New Student Registration:
- The window opened Monday, Feb.20th.
- Daily Registration is Monday - Friday (9am - 3pm)
- Please provide proof of the following:
A. Official Birth Certificate , Proof of Residence, Physical Examination Form (Kindergarten Only), Medicaid Card/Proof of Income (PreK Only), and South Carolina Immunization Form 4024
- Kindergarten students must be five years old by September 1, 2023.
- Prekindergarten students must be four years old on or before September 1, 2023.
- The prekindergarten program is not state mandated, and there are a limited number of slots available at each school.

8. EXACT Path: Students are encouraged to log into EXACT Path daily while at home. They have a dedicated time during the school day to work on their learning paths. However, we do encourage students to continue practicing their "Leveled" skills in their "Reading and Math" learning pathways. Students are recognized bi-weekly for their mastery progress and usage minutes.
