Hello, Castle View Families:
This past week, we said goodbye to our incredible class of 2023 and welcomed our incoming class of 2027 at our Moving Up Assembly. This is such an important Castle View tradition, which gives us a chance to reflect on the year coming to a close and look forward to the year ahead. It also gave me the opportunity to address our new leaders, the mighty class of 2024, and challenge them to create and foster the kind of community they want to be a part of -- to stand up when they see or hear something that harms our culture and to be fierce protectors of one another and this place. I encouraged them to build school spirit and to show up for their friends at games and concerts and competitions and plays and spirit days as proud members of Sabercat Nation and brave stewards of our school in our broader community. I know I can trust them to lead like that.
I know, largely because they've had great mentors in the class of '23. This class has led with a kindness and perseverance that inspires all of us to honor their legacy, and it is bittersweet to look forward to celebrating their accomplishments at the following events:
- May 13: Graduate Parade through the Meadows at 11 (More info HERE)
- May 16: Graduation Rehearsal @ 9:05; Senior Sunset @ 4:00; Senior Cording and Awards Ceremony @ 6:00. (Please note - all students are on an EXTENDED ADVISEMENT SCHEDULE on Tuesday!)
- May 17: Commencement Ceremony @ 9 at Red Rocks.
Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions, and as always, thank you for sharing your kids with us; it is our honor to serve them.

Schedules for 23-24!
Please note that Sabercats' Schedules for next year were released in Infinite Campus on Friday, April 28 at 3pm. (If your students needs a refresher on how to view next year's schedule in IC, click HERE).
If you see an error on your schedule, please use the SCHEDULE CORRECTION FORM. It will be available Monday, May 1st through Friday, May 19th.
Please understand that the schedule correction window is an extremely busy time for our counselors, and they will not be able to keep up with emails with specific requests. This form is the best way to contact them about your schedule. They will check the form frequently, and they appreciate your understanding. Please also note the CVHS SCHEDULE CORRECTION POLICY as you make requests for adjustments.
A note from our registrar
Will you be moving at the end of the school year? If so, please email me at delana.hoogeboom@dcsdk12.org for your student's withdrawal form. Records will not be forwarded without a parent-signed withdrawal form and a completed student withdrawal form.
Next steps:
- A parent/guardian must complete and sign the withdrawal form.
- On the last day of attendance, the student will take the student withdrawal form to their teachers to receive a withdrawal grade and the teacher's signatures.
- All textbooks, library books, and Chrome books with charging cords must be returned to the library.
- Outstanding fees must be paid or cleared by the Bookkeeper.
- Students must turn in their school ID card and parking permit and clean their lockers.
Upon completing all steps, the student may obtain a copy of the withdrawal form, an unofficial transcript, and an immunization record for their new school.
