Fall Sports & Clubs Underway
With five sports and a multitude of academic, art, and leadership clubs getting underway more than 300 students participate in after school activities. This week's cross country meet alone saw over 100 students competing against two other junior high schools.

Sick Day Guidelines: Make the Right Choice!
To help prevent the spread of illness, we would like to give you some guidelines to help with your decision on whether or not to send your child to school. Please familiarize yourself with the guidelines and how to report an absence. We ask that you keep your child home if they:
Have a fever of 100.4 (oral) degrees or higher.
Have stomach cramps and/or vomiting.
Have a sore throat with fever.
Have a persistent cough (dry or productive).
Have diarrhea (three or more episodes in 24 hrs).
Have a rash or open and draining sores.
Have symptoms that prevent them from participating in school, such as:
Excessive tiredness or lack of appetite.
Headaches, body aches, earaches.
Severe sore throat (could be strep-throat even without fever. Other symptoms of strep throat in children are headache and stomach upset. Contact your pediatrician to assess or diagnosis strep throat).
District News
School Board Election
Four seats on the Board of Education for Lincolnshire-Prairie View School District 103 will be up for election on April 1, 2025. Each of the seats will be for a four-year term, or until April 2029. Information is available at the District 103 office located at 111 Barclay Boulevard, Suite 100, Lincolnshire, IL 6069. Circulation period and filing information can be found on the Lake County Elections Website.

Nomination papers are filed with the Lake County Clerk’s office located at 18 N. County Street, Room 101, Waukegan, IL 60085.
November 12, 2024 - First day to file nomination papers.
