As we head into the final week before Fall Break, let's make it count! We're so proud of the hard work and energy our students have shown so far this school year, and we encourage everyone to finish strong this week.

Our annual blood drive is happening this Tuesday. This is a great opportunity for students and staff to give back and make a difference in our community.
πΈ Make-Up Picture Day β Friday, October 4th
If you missed Picture Day earlier this year, donβt worry! Make-up Picture Day is this Friday, so be sure to come ready to smile for your yearbook photo and student ID.

Regular Week Schedule
- On Thursdays all students start at 8:30am, be ready for more morning traffic.
- On Thursdays all students get out at 2:23pm, be ready for more after school traffic.
- Student Union and all offices close at 2:30pm every Thursday (will open next day at 8:00am)
- Singleton Parking lot gates will be closed around 9:00am
- Singleton Pedestrian gate will be closed at the start of 2nd period (9:40am most days)

Athletic Game Tickets:
You can now Purchase Athletic Game Tickets ONLINE.
Tickets will be $1 more for each ticket purchase. You can also scan the QR Code.
Girls Soccer:
Attention all girls interested in playing soccer this year! There is an important informational meeting Thursday at lunch in Room 209. Go Falcons!

Hello Seniors!
We're gearing up for an exciting prom season and need your help! We're seeking volunteers to assist with a fundraising event at the Stanford Concession on Saturday, October 5, 2024. Your support will directly contribute to lowering the cost of prom tickets.

Class of 2025, please take a moment to schedule your senior portrait in the San Jose Studio. The scheduling site is now ready for you to self-schedule your senior portraits. Please use the link provided to reserve a day and time for your appointment.

Interclub Council
π Join Us for a Spooky Good Time at Andrew P. Hill High School!
Weβre excited to invite all community members and students K-12 to our Community Trick-or-Treat Event on Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 12-2 PM!
This yearβs theme is PokΓ©mon, and weβve got an afternoon packed with fun:
- Explore our Spooky Haunted House
- Enjoy trick-or-treating opportunities throughout the event.
- Get in the Halloween spirit with our Halloween Door Decorating Contest, where you can vote on your favorite decorated doors!
- Plus, there will be treats for sale to satisfy your sweet tooth.
π The event will be held in the 100 & 200 buildings at Andrew P. Hill High School.
We hope to see you there for an afternoon of fun, fright, and community spirit!

Join the MESA program!
We are excited to share information about the MESA (Math, Engineering, Science Association) program at Andrew Hill High School! MESA is a program that supports students from underrepresented and underserved communities who want to major in STEM fields. Our goal is to help you transfer to four-year colleges and advance your STEM education.

Service Opportunities
Volunteers Needed for Rock 'n' Roll San Jose Half Marathon & 10K
This year's race will be held on Sunday, October 6. There are several volunteer opportunities Friday, October 4, through Sunday, October 6, 2024.
St. Jude Children's Reach Hospital is our National Charity, and our volunteer efforts support the runners and walkers raising money to support the St Jude mission. We also continue to have a close partnership with the San Jose Sports Authority.
