Welcome to the 2024-2025 School Year
Dear Meadow Point Families,
It was so great seeing you all at our Meet and Greet! It's wonderful to hear how excited our students are about returning to school. We couldn't be happier to finally welcome them back and look forward to an amazing year together.
On Monday we will welcome our 3rd-5th graders and on Tuesday we will welcome our 1st-2nd graders. Students will look for signs with their teachers name on the back blacktop and will line up with their class. Once the bell rings they will all walk to the front entrance to enter the building. On Wednesday we have our Kinder and Preschool students starting day one, Kindergarten please look for your students teacher sign. Preschool please go directly to the mobiles to find your students teacher. If you were not able to attend the Meet and Greet we will have staff members with class rosters outside ready to support you with finding your child's teacher.
Breakfast and Lunch
Breakfast and lunch is provided free for all of our students. Please complete the free and reduce lunch application if you have not done so.
Snacks
Last year snacks were very costly for our school, going forward please send your student with a snack to eat during their designated classroom snack time. If sending a snack is a financial burden for your family please fill out the survey below or contact Emily Prascher school liaison.

General Information
FOOD SERVICE:
â—Ź Breakfast will be served beginning at 7:30 a.m. All students getting breakfast should enter through the main cafeteria entrance.
â—Ź Linq is now the program used for all lunch payments. Each student has an account through Cherry Creek's Student Nutrition Center. Visit the CCSD Food and Nutrition Services website to set up an account at https://www.cherrycreekschools.org/Page/2808. Students may also bring lunch from home or deposit cash or checks into their accounts for food purchases. With the Universal Lunch Program, breakfast and lunch for all students will be at no cost. If your student wishes to purchase snacks or a second entree, they will need money in their Linq account.
â—Ź Applications for free and reduced lunch may be found at the District Food and Nutrition Services page.
MEDICAL FORMS, MEDICATION, AND IMMUNIZATIONS: All necessary Medical Forms can be found on the District Health Services page. If you have health forms, medication administration forms, immunization records that need to be turned into our School Nurses, please bring a hard copy to the Meet and Greet or email our nurse directly. If you need to deliver medications to our clinic, please bring them to the Meet and Greet or make other arrangements by reaching out to the nurse. Clinic Phone: 720-886-8605.
IMMUNIZATIONS: Students are required by state law to have immunizations or waivers completed. Updates provided by the student's physician should be emailed to our School Nurses (see above).
â—Ź Students who have not received the required immunizations will not be allowed to register and therefore will not attend school. For more information regarding Colorado state requirements for immunizations please visit: https://www.colorado.gov/pacific/cdphe/school-resources
â—Ź If you choose to have your student exempt from these immunizations, a new exemption form is required to be completed each year if this is for a non-medical exemption. Here is the link for the exemption forms: https://www.colorado.gov/pacific/cdphe/vaccine-exemptions
CELL PHONE USE: Meadow Point maintains a strict “no cell phone” policy during school hours (including lunch and recess). Students may use the school phone if they need to reach out to their parent/guardian after school.
CUBBIES: Students will use cubbies to store backpacks, coats, and lunches.
SCHOOL SUPPLIES: Please have your child bring their School Supplies to the Meet and Greet Event or on their Phase-In Day. If you still need to purchase school supplies, you may find the grade level lists here: Grade Level School Supply Lists.
STUDENT IDENTIFICATION/PICTURES: Individual student photos will be taken on August 29th during the school day. Order forms will be coming home from VanGogh Studios.
VOLUNTEERS AND VISITORS: We are excited to host room parents and classroom volunteers! There will be a new process to check in at the front desk and get a visitor’s badge to wear while you’re in the building. Be prepared - you will always need to have your driver’s license or picture ID available to enter the building. Also, if you plan to volunteer for any school event during the 2024-25 school year, please complete the District Volunteer Application, (this does need to be completed every school year.) Students’ safety is our number one priority and our district has been working diligently to implement thoughtful security purposes. Please note there is an additional layer of security for all entering our school. Please be sure to have your identification card when coming to school as you will need it to enter the building.
PTCO INFORMATION: Please find a wealth of wonderful information about our PTCO (Parent-Teacher-Community-Organization) by visiting the PTCO webpage: https://www.mpptco.org/. All families are welcome and encouraged to attend PTCO meetings and events. Join us for the first PTCO meeting of the year on Wednesday, August 21st from 5:30-6:30pm in the Meadow Point Library.
FREE MEADOW POINT T-SHIRT
All students will receive a FREE Meadow Point T-shirt to wear during our 2024 Fun Run on September 19th. In addition, students can wear them for field trips and other school events.
