Dent Dolphin Details
Family Issue #10
B Week: 10/21-25/2024
Hello Dolphin Families!
A huge thank you to our PTA and to everyone who came out to our Fall Festival! It was such an awesome event, filled with fun, laughter, and our amazing community coming together. We truly appreciate your support in making it a success!
This week is extra special for a couple of reasons. First, we’re celebrating Red Ribbon Week, where we focus on the importance of drug and alcohol prevention. Let’s work together to promote healthy, safe choices for our students!
We’re also giving a big shoutout to our wonderful bus drivers for National School Bus Safety
& Bus Driver Appreciation Week! These hardworking individuals help keep our kids safe every day, so be sure to show them some extra love and appreciation. Let’s also take this opportunity to remind our students about the importance of school bus safety.
Additionally, we’re excited to welcome the fire department to LMDES on Monday for fire prevention assemblies! This will be a great opportunity for our students to learn more about fire safety and prevention.
We’re looking forward to a fantastic week ahead!
All the best,
Mrs. Lindsay Brenfleck, Principal
Mr. Joseph Farrell, Assistant Principal

Primary Veterans Day Concert
Dear Primary Parents and Guardians,
Our Veterans Day Concert for primary students will take place on Thursday, November 7th at 9:30am. We cordially invite you to attend our public concert. The concert will be performed by our PreK, Kindergarten, First, and Second grade classes and is anticipated to conclude within 30 minutes. Students are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue for the performance. For your planning purposes, please plan on waiting to park in the bus loop until all buses have departed, at approximately 9:15am. If you require special accommodations for seating a member of your family, please contact us as soon as possible.
Over the next few weeks, please help your child practice and memorize the lyrics for their song. You can listen to their song through this Google Slidedeck. We want to have our best performance for our school community. We will have an in-school dress rehearsal the day before the concert for the intermediate students and staff.
Sincerely,
Paul Christian and Kate Holm

Bus Safety & Expectations
Please take a few moments to view the video below and review the Student Rules for Transportation with your student(s). Student safety on the bus is the shared responsibility of students, parents, bus drivers, and the school.
Regularly reviewing bus expectations with your student will help ensure a safe ride to and from school each day. Riding the bus is a privilege; it takes all of us to safely transport our students each day. Thank you for your support!
