Keep up the great work, Disney!
6th Grade Camp
Last Tuesday, our 6th graders attend Camp Howell! Camp was amazing and such a great way to get to start our 6th grader’s school year. Students participated in team challenge activities, ziplined across a creek, explored archery, and learned survival skills. Camp Howell also invests into taking care of nature by nurturing wild animals that are essential to their ecosystem such as bald eagles, barn owls, turkey vultures, and more. Every student was involved and participated to grow as a team and made the most out of our camp experience.
Thank YOU to our wonderful chaperones for keeping our students safe and to all the families that donated!
PTO Sponsored Class Shirts!
If you are new to Disney, your PTO provides one class shirt for every student & employee at our awesome school. These shirts can be worn any day, but especially for field trips and school events. A paper flyer will be coming home this week and there is also an online order form as well.
NEW THIS YEAR!!
If you would like to purchase an additional class shirt(s) for your student, please include $15 for each additional shirt (cash or check). Only the student’s size will be available to purchase.
All students will receive ONE FREE class shirt; cash or check should only be submitted for additional shirt request. Everyone should fill out the link below to indicate shirt size!
Change of Clothes
Students may have a variety of accidents throughout the school day that require a change of clothes. To help prevent a call home, please make sure to have an extra set of clothes in your child’s backpack in case of an accident throughout the school day. Thank you!
In addition, please add your child's name to their belongings (water bottles, sweatshirts, etc). This will help us return lost belongings to students. Thank you!

Health Guidance for Going to School
We want to partner with our families to make our school a safe, healthy and welcoming environment for your students.
Make sure to send your child to school if they are generally healthy and able to participate in their usual day-to-day activities. Avoid keeping children at home unless they are too sick to participate.
We have put together this helpful chart of when to keep your child home and when they can return to school for common illnesses.

Free & Reduced Meals
As you may have heard, all students in Fraser Public Schools are eligible to receive free meals this school year. Every student enrolled in our district can receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at NO CHARGE to your household each day.
Meals Information
Breakfast and lunch menus for the first week of school and the month of September are linked below. Elementary Schools will have a limited variety of a la carte items to purchase using CASH ONLY. All students can choose to purchase an additional breakfast or lunch at the full paid student price.
Education Benefits Form
Even though meals are free for everyone, it is still important for your household to complete an Education Benefits Form, which can be found online on the Family Portal website. This form is critical in determining the amount of money that our district receives from a variety of state and federal supplemental programs. It could also help your family qualify for additional benefits.
We are asking that you please complete and submit the Education Benefits Form as soon as possible. All information on the report submitted is confidential, and it should take only a few minutes to complete.
Menus for lunch and breakfast items do not need to be turned in this year. Teachers will go over the lunch room procedures with students the first day of school.
