A Note From Mr. Christ
Dear Paddock Families,
Happy Cinco De Mayo to everyone! Thank you to all of the families that came out to our Open House event this past Wednesday evening. It was great seeing all of the students' excitement as they showed their adults around the building and talked about the great work that they've done this school year. Thank you to all the parents/guardians of our Paddock students for your support and trust this year. Your partnership with our teachers, as well as Mr. Wierman and I, has made a huge impact on the students' success and I cannot thank you enough for your continued commitment to Paddock School.
Have a great week-
Jason Christ
Principal

Our Paddock PTA has put together a wonderful week of treats for our teachers to show them how much they are appreciated. Take a moment this week to tell your student's teacher thank you for all that they do.

Clean Up, Give Back Plastic Bag Drive
The last two years, Paddock has taken part in a plastic bag drive put on by “Clean Up, Give Back Palatine.” This company collects plastic that is not recyclable in standard recycling machinery and transports it to facilities that can recycle or repurpose it. Items such as grocery bags, ziploc bags, ice bags, bubble wrap and more fit into this category.
Last year, we competed with Gray M. Sanborn (GMS) school to see who can collect the most plastic in pounds and Paddock came out victorious! We will be having a competition with GMS again this year and I know we can win again!
This event runs from April 8th-May 10th. On Monday, there will be green boxes in each hallway and the main office where the plastic that is brought in can go. Students can bring in plastic and put them in those bins or parents/community members can bring plastic and put it in the main office bin. Thank you for your support!
Student Registration
As a reminder, all new and existing District 15 students need to be registered/re-registered for the 2024-2025 school year. It is very important for our families to do this as early as possible so we have accurate student enrollment numbers. These numbers help us determine the number of teachers and other staff Paddock will need for the upcoming school year.
Any students not enrolled or re-enrolled by July 1, 2024, will be unenrolled and will need to contact their school to begin a new registration. Please go to the District 15 registration page to register your student. Call the Paddock main office (847-963-5800) if you have any question.
Health Office
If your child has a Health Care plan for asthma or an allergy OR has medication they need to take at school, please make sure you read the linked documents and get in contact with Mrs. Pool, our Paddock nurse. You can reach her at 847-963-5802 or poolk@ccsd15.net.
