If you are free tomorrow, Saturday, October 12, any time from 9am-12pm, please join us at a Garden Day. We are working with Each Green Corner to get our garden back in shape and ready for student learning. All are welcome.
Student Advisory Group
Building on the momentum from last year, we have expanded our Student Advisory Group to 2nd-5th graders. Our students have the opportunity to share their ideas on a variety of topics and see those ideas put into action. We are excited to work with our young Roosevelt leaders.

Redwood City School District & County of San Mateo present Access to Healthcare parent information sessions next week that will include information about Medi-Cal and CalFresh.

October PTA Meeting
Save the date for the October PTA Meeting on Tuesday October 22 at 6pm. Meetings are held virtually and in person. We will be seeking community input on a Reading Garden to be designed outside the Roosevelt Library, neighboring the pond.
SEPTAR Meeting
Join SEPTAR's next association meeting on October 15 at 7pm on Zoom. The topic will be Navigating Transitions, presented by the RCSD Special Education Department and Sequoia Union HS District. Supporting Boys' Relationships and Healthy Development on Wednesday, October 16, 5:30-6:30pm. How can we support boys’ healthy development? Drawing from her research with boys during early childhood and adolescence, Stanford lecturer Judy Chu, EdD, will provide insight into what boys are capable of knowing and doing in their relationships. Understanding Neurodiversity and Neurodivergence: Creating a More Empathetic, Accessible World on Thursday, October 17, 5:30-6:30pm. Amanda Morin, author, educator, and neurodiversity expert. will provide parents and educators with practical information about neurodiversity and neurodivergence, to help students feel accepted and supported for who they are.
