Dear Tuffree community,

What a week it has been! Academics are in full swing, students kept cool with a water balloon toss at lunch, and we got our fundraiser off to a fantastic start! Half of our site got new A/C units over the summer, and I know we are feeling extra thankful for that with this heat. Speaking of the heat, please encourage your students to bring a water bottle to school. We have fill-up stations all around campus. In these kinds of weather conditions, it isn't the heat itself, but the dehydration that we see affecting kids the most.

Fire Drill Wednesday - Our first evacuation drill will take place on Wednesday morning. Students will learn process for safely exiting campus, led by Ms. Chapman and their teachers. These drills are of the utmost importance in maintaining a safe campus. Please impress the importance of taking these drills seriously upon your student. We appreciate partnering with you all on this.

Spirit Days! "College Wear Thursdays," and "Falcon Pride Fridays" are in full effect! Please encourage your student to rep their favorite college wear on Thursdays and any Tuffree spirit wear on Fridays. All students received a free Tuffree shirt this week, so if your student did not pick their shirt up at lunch, please have them stop by the office to get one. On both of these spirit days, students will recieve a 5-Star point for participating! These points will be used for awesome prizes or fun experiences that can be purchased at our spirit store on Tuesdays and Thursdays!

• Bell Schedule: Our bell schedule is found here. Campus supervision begins at 7:45 am. Wednesdays are early release at 2:30 pm for teacher planning and collaboration

• School Calendar: The school calendar can be found here.

• Nutrition: Breakfast and lunch will be provided at no charge to all students.

• Aeries Parent Portal: Communication between home and school is key to student success. Be sure to check Aeries regularly to monitor student progress.

• Daily Attendance: Every day counts when it comes to student attendance. Students must maintain good attendance to achieve academic success. When a student is absent, please contact the attendance office. The attendance office can be reached by text at (714)202-6891 or by contacting our front office by phone at (714)986-7480. Please include your student’s name, your name, and the reason for the absence. Note that you must report absences every day your student is out, and you have 48 hours to clear an absence.
