Wow! What a week! The first week of school was exciting and full of energy, with eager students and encouraging teachers. We also know there are were some emotional ups and downs and a bit of exhaustion, but overall, it was an excellent start to the 2024-2025 school year.

Back to School Nights

To kick off the school year, we have scheduled Back to School Nights for each grade level. This is a great opportunity for you to meet your child's teachers, learn about the curriculum, and get important information for the upcoming year.

Here are the details for each Back to School Night:

- Grade 6: September 11 from 7:00pm to 8:30pm

- Grade 7: September 18 from 6:30pm to 7:30pm (please note the time change)

- Grade 8: September 18 from 7:45pm to 8:45pm (please note the time change)

Please mark these dates on your calendars and make sure to attend the appropriate Back to School Night for your child's grade.

Traffic Advisory: We anticipate heavy traffic on the nights of Grade 7 and Grade 8 Back to School Nights. Please plan accordingly and allow extra time for parking and getting to the event. Carpooling or using alternative transportation options is encouraged to help alleviate congestion.

Students must be REGISTERED in Genesis Parent Portal, have MEDICAL CLEARANCE & paid the STUDENT ACTIVITY FEE to tryout. Please contact the Main Office if you have a concern about the Activity Fee.
