All Tahoe teachers and staff will be using ParentSquare to communicate with families this year! You will need just ONE app to receive news from Mrs. Bennett, your students' teachers, see the calendar of school events, etc. (No more remind, dojo, etc.) Be sure to download the app today!

The AMAZING Tahoe PTA meets on the first Wednesday of each month! You can join us in person (in Room 8) or on Microsoft Teams from 5:30-6:30pm! (Note the updated 24/25 link info!)

All families will enter campus through the front doors so that they can sign in. Students will meet families outside starting at 11:30am. Grades 1-6 (including SDC Kinder) will gather on the main lawn. TK and Kinder students will be in the Kinder play area. Families with children in both groups can take their students to either area.

All are encouraged to bring blankets/lawn chairs.

Fun for the whole family!

As you may have noticed, our school parking lot is tiny! With than in mind, please leave the parking lot spaces available for staff (who are here all day). If you need to park during drop-off in the mornings, please do so in the open areas (not white or red curbs) in the street.

We will be voting in a new School Site Council this year! The Tahoe SSC is a group of parents, community members, and staff who meet monthly to create and monitor school-wide goals, decide how funding is allocated, and more! Our meetings are generally on the second Tuesday of the month, from 4:00-5:00. Interested in participating? Please sign up here (to show you are interested, not to make a firm commitment).

Being at school everyday, on time, is extremely important! Research shows that students with chronic absences are more likely to fall behind both academically and socially. We know, though, that life happens. And if your student is sick/contagious, we want them to stay home to rest and recuperate without sharing germs with everyone else in the class. All absences, should be communicated with Ms. Blanca in the front office. You may call (and speak to a human or leave a message) 916-395-4750 or report an absence online.

Our school office hours are 8:30am-4:00pm, Monday - Friday (expect on school holidays). The front (wooden) doors of the school open at 8:45am on school days, so if you are outside and need assistance, please call the front office at 916-395-4750.
