Dear families,
It’s been a whirlwind of activity here at the Lunenburg School! Our
3-5 students recently participated in the annual Kingdom East Wellness Fair at Burke Mountain where they played games and even had the chance to make smoothies by pedaling a bike. They had a great time and I was very proud of our students for making positive choices and behaving well. I heard many comments from other members of the district about our students and how amazing they were.
The fifth graders have been joining Concord middle schoolers for Experiential Learning Wednesdays and have been biking, golfing and fishing. It’s been a great experience for all our students as the time with their future teachers and classmates has been exciting.
As of today we have 15 days left of school and we’ve been keeping track using our ABC Countdown. We’ve done some awesome activities that included Awards, Disco Dance Day, Escape rooms, and Game time. We are getting more and more excited for the letter U which is our ULTIMATE field trip to Santa’s Village.
The Spring Fling and Fifth Grade celebration is on Wednesday, June 11th–we’re hoping for pleasant weather so we can be outside. There will be a BBQ and cake, songs, and recognition of our 5th grade students.
