Senior families- it’s finally here- the launch of the FAFSA and WAFSA
Federal Financial Aid is for students going into most all post secondary situations. Universities, trade schools, some apprenticeship programs etc. are ell eligible. And, if you think you won’t qualify, you should fill out the FAFSA and find out. ALSO, many scholarships will ask what your FAFSA award was before giving finances. SO, let’s get started by working on the FAFSA ID
Then watch this for more support FAFSA/WASFA Video Series: Filling out the FAFSA/WASFA (English)
Junior Families- it’s time for spending time looking at all the options so we are ready for applications next fall. Each student has a College Knowledge handbook with timelines to share. Please look together and discuss hopes, dreams, and plans.
Sophomore Families- this is the perfect time to look together at YouScience results and discuss what options are revealed the more you learn about interests, aptitudes and opportunities.
Freshman Families - using this time to focus on a strong academic disposition that includes attendance, performance and engagement is key. Volunteer opportunities are a great way to learn about community outside of school.
