March marks the end of Quarter 3. The year is going by fast! March also brings Spring Break, a much deserved week off for students and families, teachers and staff. We hope your Spring Break is relaxing and enjoyable. Recharge the batteries, because when we come back on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, it's the start of Quarter 4, a continuation of Saturday School, and statewide testing season. Lots to do to finish strong!

As always, please feel free to reach out to your child's teachers and to our school staff and administrators in the main office with any questions or concerns.

Our parent-teacher conferences for Record day for this year will be held on Monday, March 24th, 2025 by sign up only. Your child's teacher may reach out with the option to have an in person or a phone conference for your child. If you prefer to meet in person to discuss your child's academic success, please let your child's teacher know. More information will follow from the teachers, including how to sign-up for an in person conference.

Conferences will be held by appointment during the following times:

• North Campus (K-5th Grade)- 8:30-11:30 am
• South Campus (6th-12th Grade)- 12:30-4:00 pm

Spring Break also means that your student will be bringing home their Spring Packets to complete for ELA (grades 3-10, grade 12 honors), math (grades 3-8 plus high school algebra and statistics), civics (grade 7), science (grades 5, 8, and 9), and US History (grade 11).

Saturday School provides students in grades 3-11 with extra instructional time to practice and master subjects tested in the end-of-year statewide exams in the following areas:

• ELA Grades 3-10
• Math Grades 3-8
• Algebra and Geometry
• Science Grades 5 and 8
• Biology
• Civics
• US History (Grade 11)

It is very important that your child attend Saturday School. It starts on March 1st and continues every Saturday until mid-May. Transportation by bus and breakfast will be provided.

Hours:

• North Campus (3rd through 5th grade): 8:30 am to 12 pm

• South Campus (6th through 11th grade): 7:30 am to 11 am.

Please mark these Saturday School dates in your calendar:

#1: March 1

#2: March 8

#3: March 29

#4: April 5

#5: April 12

#6: April 26

#7: May 3

#8: May 10

Note: There will be NO Saturday School on 3/15, 3/22 or 4/19/25 due to breaks and/or holidays.

Please make sure that your child is in school every day for every class, on time and ready to learn.

Did you know that missing 10% or more of school puts a child in much greater danger of falling behind academically and struggling with reading and math? It also increases the danger of not graduating from high school.

Ten percent is just 2 days a month! That means that being absent just 2 days a month puts your child at greater risk. This is true regardless of whether the absence is excused or unexcused.

So please, in as much as possible, make medical appointments outside school hours and take vacations or trips during school breaks, so your children receive the full benefits of their time at Team Success.
