Class of 2026 - Senior Portrait Information
Dear Families of the Class of 2026,
It's almost time to schedule senior portraits!
All yearbook portraits must be taken by Keane Studios. Please plan to contact them in June to schedule a session for this summer.
During the first week of June, Keane Studios will email you with details on how to book your senior portrait session. However, if you opted out of sharing information with third-party partners during the PHS Continuing Student Online Registration, you will not receive this email. In that case, you’ll need to contact Keane Studios directly and create an account at:
https://www.keaneseniors.com/book-session
We want every senior featured in the yearbook, so please make sure to schedule your portrait session soon!
Social Media Challenges Causing Facilities Damage
We’ve seen a recent uptick in unsafe behaviors influenced by social media trends, including students tampering with electrical outlets using paperclips or foil and removing sink push buttons from restrooms. These actions pose serious safety risks and result in costly damage. Please talk with your student about the dangers and consequences of these behaviors. Thank you for partnering with us to keep our campuses safe and respectful spaces for all.
Remaining Funds on Student Cafeteria Accounts
Cafeteria account balances carry over from one school year to the next and between school sites as long as your student remains in PUSD. If you have a graduating senior or a student leaving the District, you can request a refund of your unused balance or transfer the funds to a different meal account. Instructions and the Refund/Transfer Request Form are available on the PUSD Food and Nutrition webpage.
Trimester 3 Finals Schedule Changes
Trimester 3 Finals will be held from June 10-12 following a modified bell schedule. Click here for the modified bell schedule.
To ensure a smooth testing environment for our students during final exams, off-campus passes will not be distributed during classes from June 10-12. If your student needs to leave, please request a pass 24 hours in advance by calling 858-748-0245 x5113. This is a 24-hour number that is monitored during school hours. Please remind your student that it is their responsibility to pick up the pass as we will not deliver passes to classrooms.
For same-day releases, you must check out your student in person at the PHS front office with your ID. Students can only check out between class periods or during lunch to avoid disrupting finals.
Thank you for your cooperation!
