Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week May 3rd- 7th
Let’s face it. This past school year has been weird but our SSS Teachers and Staff have gone above and beyond to help us all make it through. Let’s celebrate all that we have survived and thank all of the amazing people at SSS who helped our children and families make it through. The first week in May is the time of year we really take time to show our appreciation and we need your help through food donations and volunteer slots. If you can, please sign up using this link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0D44ACA922A5FBC07-welove Make cards, send a message, treat them to something special, anything to let them know how much they are appreciated. Thank you!
Poetry Month Activity
World Poetry Celebration submissions have been extended to April 25th!! Please encourage your student to submit a poem to go into our collective school book that will be kept in the school library. The classroom or homeroom with the most participants will get a class party with either pizza or ice cream. There will be a class participation winner in each elementary and middle school, so we hope this encourages everyone to jump in! Also, we will be doing book give-a-ways to those who are participating and will have one winner per class (of those participating). Note: this is not a contest. Students do not have to attach their name, they can say grade and or age so long as we know who the student is and can let us know. To submit entries we ask that you use this link https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfDpWlR9loxT9U7CvIj-6K68zTM4-XdV5TarNogBLIxjCNVyA/viewform?vc=0&c=0&w=1&flr=0

A special thank you to our community partners!
We owe a huge thank you to Poor Richards Books who not only donated 30 books for students and our library but also helped us in getting 47 books to start our Family Resource Library with books specializing in behavior and learning disorders, educational rights, and how to best meet the needs of our children. If you have the chance, please stop in to Poor Richards and thank them for supporting our students and school.

Yes, we have a 4-day cruise of the Greek Islands included in this 13-day trip.
