We have almost completed SBAC (state testing). We will be finishing with make-up testing this week.Scores are expected to be available in June. Great work to all our 3rd through 6th grade pumas!

On Tuesday, PTA is hosting a Jog-a-thon on May 28th! Here are the key details:

• Date: May 28th
• Activity: Students will run during their assigned grade-level time slot.
• How it Works: Students will count their laps during the allotted time and then collect pledges based on the number of laps they complete.
• Donations Due: All donations are due by May 31st.

On Friday, we will be holding End of the Year Awards Assemblies to recognize students with Perfect Attendance all year. We will also be recognizing select students with P.R.I.D.E. awards. Invitations will be sent home. Families are welcome to join us.

Library Reminders:

1. Library Books Return: It's time to return all library books. Please ensure that all library books are returned ASAP.
   

2. Chromebooks and Chargers: Students in 2nd to 6th grades will be taking their Chromebooks and chargers home for the summer and will use them next school year. Please take good care of these devices.

3. Fines Information: There will be no printed fines due bills this year. Parents can view their student’s fines in Aeries. The final postings for fines due will happen the week of June 10th.

This year’s Summer STEAM Academy will be held at Douglass Middle School June 13 - July 12 from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Our summer program will be an enrichment academy and focus on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics).

Our Middle School STEAM Academy is open to all WJUSD students who will attend 7th or 8th grade in the fall (current 6th and 7th graders). If your child is interested in attending, please complete the Middle School Summer School Sign Up Form

Observed Holidays (no school): June 19 and July 4.

Nuestra Academia STEAM de escuela intermedia está abierta a todos los estudiantes de WJUSD que asistirán a 7.º u 8.º grado en el otoño (estudiantes actuales de 6.º y 7.º grado). Si su hijo/a está interesado en asistir, complete el formulario de inscripción a la escuela de verano de la escuela intermedia.
