February News

Happy New Year from your 2018 Berry Creek HOA Board! We are excited to begin working on many projects around the neighborhood. Our new monthly newsletters will hopefully keep everyone updated on neighborhood events! Please feel free to contact any of the board members below with information, concerns, and celebrations!

Upcoming Berry Creek Improvements

Berry Creek will get a new neighborhood play set this spring! The Board approved the budget for a new playground and surrounding landscaping. You can see the future location staked near the clubhouse. Construction is set to begin in the next month or so, and will hopefully be completed by May. Thank you to everyone who helped on the Playground Committee!


This spring, construction will also begin to improve street drainage on Cypress Mill near the clubhouse. The sidewalk on Cypress Mill will also be joined with the clubhouse sidewalk. This will help families safely get to the clubhouse, playground and pool without using the road.


The Board also approved the budget to repair the outside door leading to the fitness room. The door has become warped and is difficult to lock and unlock. We are currently seeking bids to replace the door. In the meantime, please use caution when locking/unlocking the door. It may take a little jiggling to get your key to fit!

HOA Dues

Thank you to all the residents who have paid their 2018 HOA dues. Your dues help with common area landscaping, pool and fountain maintenance, repairs and improvements. If you have not paid your dues, or have questions about dues, please contact Nancy Cooper at treasurer@berrycreekstillwater.com

Clubhouse Reminders

Some friendly reminders about clubhouse reservations:


  • Please use the clubhouse checklist when your event is over.
  • Please consider using tablecloths to protect all the tables from food, drinks, and messes. This also includes the large serving table, frosting loves to hide in all the little grooves!
  • Please remember to turn off all the lights and fans, adjust the thermostat, and turn off all electronics after your event. Clubhouse utilities can cost over $500 a month!
  • Please try to keep children out of the fitness room during events. This allows residents to use the equipment and is for the safety of your guests!

Meet Your Neighbors

Hi! We are the Arens Family! We are Zac, Sara, Evan (6) and Benjamin (4). We live on W Cypress Mill. We've lived in Stillwater and Berry Creek for almost 5 years. Zac is an Assistant Professor in the School of Marketing and International Business at OSU. Sara works part time at First United Methodist's Early Childhood Center. She is also active with the Stillwater Junior Service League. We love the neighborhood and all of the friends that we've met here. You'll often see us riding bikes, "fishing" at the fountain, swimming or running around the clubhouse field (and we'll definitely spend a lot of time at the new playground!)
