CRUMBL COOKIE TEACHER OF THE YEAR
Crumbl Cookies announced the recipients of the Crumbl Teacher of the Year Award. This recognition was in honor of National Teacher Appreciation Day back in May, showcasing the dedication and impact of educators across local schools.
From a pool of over 60,000 nominations, these remarkable teachers have been carefully selected for their extraordinary commitment to their classrooms. There were 1536 nominations from Arizona and one of our very own Hamilton teachers was chosen, Ms. Ashley Greenlee, a Special Education teacher. Here is what was submitted about Ms. Greenlee:
"Ms. Greenlee is one of the kindest people I have ever met. Sometimes when my classmates or I are feeling down and out. She always comes in bubbly and happy. She tells us every day how wonderful and special we are. We all sometimes feel we’re different because we have special needs, but she never treats us any differently. It makes me feel I can be or do anything I want in this world. She is such a wonderful teacher.""

REPORT, DON'T REPOST
The Maricopa County Attorney's Office "Report, Don't Repost" campaign urges teens, teachers, and parents to report teen violence content instead of sharing it online. Teen violence is a growing issue, and the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office is seeing more cases of teen-perpetrated violent crime. Reporting these types of incidents helps keep communities safe. Youth violence harms individuals, families, and communities. If not reported, law enforcement can't submit cases for prosecution. Use the tool kit below to help spread the message: Report, Don't Repost!
If you witness a fight:
- Don’t post videos of the fight on social media.
- Don’t try to break up the fight.
- Call the local police to tell them about the fight.
- Never assume someone else will call the police or already has.
- If you don’t feel safe reporting an incident, you can do so anonymously.
- Let those involved know police have been called and are on their way.
