Reminder the only drinks allowed in the cafeteria are water (unflavored) and natural juices. We appreciate your understanding.

School will be in session on the following days as make-up days.

April 21 and May 22. April 21 will be a red day on the specials calendar.

As you are scheduling appointments for your child, please try to schedule around MAP weeks if at all possible.

State and District Assessment Dates Overview:

Week of April 14 - MAP testing in English Language Arts for grades 3-5 (No School April 18)

Week of April 21 - MAP testing in Math for grades 3-5

Week of April 28 - MAP testing in Science for grade 5

Week of May 5 - STAR and NWEA testing for grades 3-5

The C.I.S. student talent show will be held on Monday, May 19 at the following times:

3rd grade: 9:45-10:30

4th grade: 8:55-9:40

5th grade: 8:05-8:50

Parents will be allowed to attend pending Raptor check-in. Parents, if you plan to attend please contact the office at 816-882-1046 ahead of time so we can be as efficient as possible with signing in.

Reading and Math

April 17, 22 and 24

April 14 - This week is MAP ELA week

April 18 - No School - Good Friday

April 21 - School IS in session - Specials color day is Red

April 21 - This week is MAP Math week

April 23 - 3rd grade reading event after school with Mrs. Pennington

April 25 - Arbor Day activity

April 28 - This week is MAP Science week (5th grade only)

May 1 - Zenith Inspire Night

May 2 - 3rd grade field trip

May 5 - This week is STAR and NWEA assessment week

May 6 - Art Showcase 4:00-5:00p.m.

May 12 - 4th grade field trip

May 14 - Track and Field Day

May 15 - Career Day

May 19 - Talent Show

May 16 and 19 - 5th graders (1/2 each day) will tour CVMS

May 20 - 5th grade field trip

May 22 - Last day of school - early dismissal
