This was a great week to be a Knight! We celebrated Ms. Jackson (our lead custodian) receiving the SMSD October All Star Award, had a few guest speakers, and Sources of Strength presented different strengths to all our students.

An informational meeting will be held on November 21st at 6:30PM in the Indian Hills library.

The 4th annual IHMS Market Day is coming! Students have the opportunity to create and sell items (not food or drink) to their fellow peers and teachers. Students will earn Shillings in their digital bank accounts for items purchased. Anyone interested in selling should sign up to attend the informational meeting taking place on November 5th. 8th grade students in science had a hands-on experience over radio waves and emergency communication with Detective Huber and Ms. Nola Hoffmann.

Knight Time (KT) is a dedicated time for our students to focus on their growth both academically and personally. Each Monday, students complete grade checks and make individual plans for success, helping them stay organized and proactive in their studies. On Tuesdays and Fridays, students have the opportunity to visit teachers in specific classes where they may need additional support; this should be arranged in advance to maximize learning. Wednesdays are dedicated to Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), where students engage in Character Strong lessons, building vital skills for personal development and character building.

We encourage timely arrival to school and attendance every day, as KT plays a key role in supporting each student’s journey toward success.

The library is tidying up the IHMS archives section and we have duplicates of many of the past Indian Hills yearbooks (as well as some Mission Valley and some Meadowbrook). Please see the SignUp Genius link below if you wish to claim one. All claimed yearbooks need to be picked up from the IHMS front desk.
