LRE Weekly Updates!

The Life Rule Role Models for the week of February 10th exhibited the life rule of Integrity. Students nominated for Integrity are: Deep Kumar, Leo Leininger, Kendall Blackburn, Saylor Barnhart, Rylen Robinson, Ada Specht, Beckam Knipp, Ari Vandergraff, Eleanor Jackson, Nori Frush, Maeve Blue, Ryker Knepp, Tanvi Avaragolla Mutt, Nitya Tatipamula, Edee Roberts, Walter Specht, Zara Lewis, Ari Kohl, Kingsley Berry, Braxton Moreno, Brendan McKenna, Miles Knouse, Fiona Cochran, and Clara Thom!

We are excited to be partnering with the Fishers High School Dance Marathon Team to have our own Mini Riley Dance Marathon! Join us for dancing, games, food, fun, and HELPING OTHERS!

When & Where?

Wednesday, February 26th immediately after school in the LRE gym from 2:05 – 4:15. Parents will need to pick up their child by 4:15 in the car rider line.

Cost?

Each student participating in the Riley Dance Marathon is recommended to make a minimum donation of $5 and MUST submit a parent permission slip.

• Paid Student Lunch (K-6) $ 2.80
• Paid Student Lunch (7-12) $ 3.00
• Paid Student Breakfast (K-12) $1.50

If you believe your family qualifies for free or reduced-price meals, be sure to fill out the application in Skyward for your student. Families must re-apply for these benefits each year, even if you qualified previously.

Please make sure you have filled out your students' health card alerting of any allergies. If you need to make changes to this please contact Nurse Okuszki at ookuszki@hse.k12.in.us.

If your child would like to purchase additional menu items, you may send cash or check with your child throughout the school year in an envelope with their name and account number, student's teacher, the amount enclosed, and date, OR you can add payments electronically through e-funds. More information on e-fund payment and account set up can be found on the food services website www.schoolnutritionandfitness.com.

We are eager to maintain the same level of commitment and enthusiasm for the RSI community during the 2025/2026 PTO school year as we embark on the next amazing chapter with Intermediate School.

If you have never participated in or supported any roles under the PTO, this is also an ideal opportunity to join and support a co-chair function. You will be a part of great leaders that can teach and support you in various co-chair roles that are needed to support long after you have enjoyed your time at RSI.

In order to sustain the enthusiasm of the HAWK Parties (3 times annually), teacher appreciation, dine-to-donate, 6th grade celebration party, Read-A-Thon, and Teacher Grants, among others, we are currently recruiting for a few executive positions for the 2025/2026 school year. It is significantly distinct from the Elementary Level, and the transition is significantly smoother due to the exceptional leadership. Be a part of something unique; join the RSI PTO.
