Happy February and Lunar New Year and Counselor's Appreciation Week and School Resource Officers Appreciation Week and Food Service Workers Appreciation Week and Valentine's. So many things going on this month and love to share. Please make sure to keep this handy when planning doctor's appointments and absences.

SchoolPool Incentive Program for Kids

Program Goal

• Incentivize schools to expand their parent/family enrollment in SchoolPool.

• Encourage parents/families to move from the enrollment stage to regular carpool trips.

• Flyer. Get enrolled in SchoolPool and select [one of these] gifts after you complete your first carpool!

• Can schools help us put flyers in backpacks or some other method of distribution? Can they be distributed to classroom/teacher’s desk?

Implementation

• Postcard QR code takes PARENTS/FAMILY member to Intake form to sign up for SchoolPool. Once completed, standard email response will tell parents to begin background and driving and will include a link GoogleForms page to select child’s prize, that asks them to:

• Provide their name, name of school, child’s name (opportunity for multiple children), child’s grade, parent’s email.

• Select a prize

• For elementary students, please select…. (see prizes above).

• For middle school or high school students, please select…. (see prizes above).

• GoTogether will push notification to parents already in the platform that they are eligible to select a prize for their kids.

• Communication customized to each school.

• Movability/GoTogether will review platform metrics every two weeks and assign prize to eligible recipients.

• Prize distribution.

• Movability/GoTogether will push an email to parents notifying them that their gift is ready for pick up (or will be ready for pick up on X date) at [location TBD].

• Movability/GoTogether will work with each school to identify best method to deliver/drop-off gifts.

• More trips = more chances to win larger value prize. Each carpool trip = one entry for fabulous prize!

Beginning Jan. 15, 2025 (every two weeks) – Movability/GoTogether check platform for each school to determine prize-eligible students. We will work with schools to determine best method to distribute gifts to students.

Did you know you can win prizes for carpooling? When your family signs up for SchoolPool and starts carpooling, you automatically get a prize and you’re entered into a drawing for a $100 Amazon gift card. The more you carpool, the more entries you have. Make sure your family is signed up so you can have a chance to win!

Sample PTA newsletter copy:

Our school is participating in SchoolPool to cut down on wait times and congestion at pickup and dropoff. Families that carpool can also win prizes! By signing up and taking your first carpool, your child automatically gets to choose a gift. And each carpool trip counts as an entry into a drawing for a $150 Amazon gift card, so the more carpool trips you take, the better your family’s chances of winning!
