Welcome back to the new school year at Naperville 203! We were thrilled to see the smiling faces of students back in our schools today. We had a great first day and cannot wait to do it again tomorrow!

NWEA MAP Assessments
In August/September, January and May, Naperville 203 will administer the NWEA MAP Growth reading and mathematics assessments to students in kindergarten through eighth grade. The purpose of this assessment is to evaluate individual student academic performance and growth across the academic year. This assessment is aligned with the Illinois Learning Standards

What is TEAM NEF?
TEAM NEF is a group of parents, teachers, students, staff, and community members running or walking, and raising funds for NEF and their favorite Naperville 203 school as Charity Heroes in the Endeavor Health Naperville Half Marathon, 10K & 5K on Sunday, October 20, 2024! Join by August 31.
Each TEAM NEF member commits to raising at least $203. Members can choose for HALF of the funds raised to go to a Naperville 203 school of choice and the other HALF goes to district-wide programs supported by Naperville Education Foundation, or can have all funds raised go to NEF!

City Seeks Student Representatives for Boards and Commissions Applications Due Monday, Sept. 9
Mayor Scott A. Wehrli and the Naperville City Council invite all Naperville resident high school sophomores, juniors and seniors to apply to fill student positions on several City boards and commissions and participate in a Leadership Academy, presented through a partnership with KidsMatter. The application deadline is Monday, Sept. 9, 2024.
Interested students should apply online by clicking the "Apply" button on the appropriate board or commission webpage. A complete list and description of boards and commissions, including their meeting dates and times, is available www.naperville.il.us/boards. Please note that not all sections of the application will apply to students. Instead of a resume, students may submit a statement of interest indicating their year in school.

Season 18 of Naperville Sports Weekly kicks-off on Monday, September 2
At 6:30 PM on Monday, September 2 Naperville Sports Weekly returns to bring viewers the action from ALL the boys’ and girls’ varsity sports at six local area high schools: Benet Academy, Metea Valley, Naperville Central, Naperville North, Neuqua Valley, and Waubonsie Valley.
Hosted by NCHS alum, Joe Kennedy, you can watch this fast-paced 30-minute show on Channel 17 in Naperville (Comcast and Astound) and Channel 99 (AT&T.) NSW can also be viewed via live video streaming and on-demand video at NCTV17.org and YouTube.
Plus, you can share any individual game highlight or story with family and friends directly from the NSW web page for free!
360 Youth Services
