2024-2025 School Year
January 3, 2025
News from Mrs. Tetreault
We are going to get right back to focused and intentional instruction so make sure your student has their backpack ready to go with all their school materials. Students should clean out their backpacks and binders and file away all old papers from the first semester.
New student schedules will be picked up in the cafeteria from 7:30-7:55 AM. All SEM 1 classes have changed and sections needed to be balanced for the right size of classrooms.
PowerSchool will have students Semester 2 schedules. Students can check PowerSchool for schedules. Be sure to change the classes to Q3 or Sem2.
Remind students of our cell phone policy. All technology MUST be out of sight (in backpack) when they arrive on campus until the last bell.
If students are participating in clubs this quarter, students will need to fill out the registration page and send or bring in $30.
Please consider donating your 2024 AZ Tax Credit to Mile High. More information below or you can email Mrs. Allen~ amber.allen@prescottschools.com
Attendance Matters
I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to emphasize the importance of regular school attendance and how it impacts your child's academic success and overall development.
Every school day offers valuable opportunities for learning, collaboration, and growth. Consistent attendance ensures that students can engage fully with the curriculum, build essential skills, and strengthen their understanding of key subjects. Missing school can lead to gaps in learning, which can affect future academic progress and make it harder for students to catch up.
In addition to academics, regular attendance helps foster positive social skills, self-discipline, and a sense of responsibility—traits that are essential for success both inside and outside the classroom. By prioritizing school attendance, we are setting our students up for success in the future.
We understand that there are sometimes unavoidable circumstances that may prevent attendance, and we are here to support your child in those times. Please feel free to reach out if you need any assistance or guidance in helping maintain consistent attendance.
Together, we can ensure that every student has the opportunity to thrive.
Thank you for your continued partnership in your child's education!
Warm regards,
Mile High Administration
