Mrs. Lake's Weekly Update
March 10, 2024
Dear All Saints Families,
The coming week is a four day one that marks the end of the second trimester. There is no school for students on Friday, March 15, although childcare is available for those who signed up. This time without students will allow teachers to work on curriculum development, restorative practices, and finalizing report cards.
We also look forward this week to celebrating Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland and engineers. In his honor, we will have a Saint Patrick's Day themed dress down on Thursday, March 14. Students can participate if their families have purchased script or by bringing in a monetary donation. The collected money will be given on behalf of the students of All Saints Catholic School to the spring fundraiser. Let's see your green and white!

RE ENROLLMENT DEADLINE IS FRIDAY, MARCH 15
Thank you to all who have already re enrolled their children for the 2024/2025 school year. We have heard from many of you about how easy the process is through the FACTS student information system. If you have not already completed your re-enrollment please do so by this Friday, March 15. Accurate numbers help us start the planning process of supplies, classrooms and teachers for next year. Of course, a new way of registering does not come without its challenges and we are here to help. Please reach out to Mrs. Ward (terri.ward@portlanddiocese.org) at Saint John's campus with any questions.
Athletics and Activities
This past Thursday marked the end of our skiing lessons for the school year. Thank you to Danielle Bolster for organizing this fun activity for our students. For a list of all other activities and practices this week, please log onto factsmgt.com.

Hannaford Helps
Each family should have received information earlier this week about how the Hannaford Helps program works this year. The program allows shoppers to earn 3 School Dollars for every 4 participating products purchased. This year at checkout, customers will receive a School Dollar printout they can use to donate to any school enrolled in this program.
To redeem School Dollars towards All Saints Catholic School, all shoppers need to do is enter the unique printout code and store number on the Hannaford Helps Schools program website and select their school. If instead you chose to drop your receipt in the place provided by Hannaford, the total School Dollars collected will be evenly distributed among all participating schools in the area.
As the days get longer and the temperatures warmer, we often feel the need to start spring cleaning. Just a reminder that the Attic is open for donations from 10am - 12 noon every Wednesday and Saturday should you have items you no longer need. Right now they are specifically looking for:
- Easter decor
- Adult fiction books and children's books
