NHS Blood Drive October 16th
Are you 16 years old, or will you be before October 16th? Join us, along with the American Red Cross, and donate blood to help save lives. The National Honor Society’s blood drive will be Wednesday, October 16, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m in the CAM cafeteria. Scroll down to the High School Section to Get more details.
National Bullying Prevention Month Design Contest
October is National Bullying Prevention Month. CAM students are invited to voluntarily participate in the Bullying Prevention Design Contest. One winning shoe will be chosen from three different grade levels: 3rd-5th, 6th-8th, and 9th-12th. A photo opportunity and a prize for each winning artist! Please drop off the original artwork in the collection bin located in Mrs. McCann’s office. Participants can pick up a shoe from Mrs. McCann, Ms. Gunderson, or ask their teacher. All entries must be submitted by October 18th. Winners will be announced on October 31.
Students can obtain a form from the front office
Please encourage your students to participate, and have conversations about empathy and kindness towards others.
Families are greatly affected by bullying within the school and community. When a student is involved in a bullying incident, families often look for available resources. Below are a number of resources provided for families who have been impacted by bullying:

Student ID Cards
ALL STUDENTS
Please remeber to bring your Student ID cards every day. You need to use this to get lunch every day and when you check out books as well. This is important and will make things easier and faster when people are trying to help you.
Little Caesars Fundraiser
The senior class fundraiser runs through Oct 31. Order Little Caesars pizza kits to be delivered directly to your home! Click to order HERE! A pizza kit includes all the ingredients you need to make at least two delicious Little Caesars-style pizzas. There are multiple types of kits available, including personal pizzas, crazy bread, italian cheese bread, and cookie dough! Primary Walk-a-Thon Pledges
Dont forget to turn in your pledges and money for the walk-a-thon in the office. Please dont forget to turn it in to the front office or your teacher.
3rd and 4th Math and Reading Night October 22nd
On Tuesday, October 22nd, 3rd and 4th grade will be hosting a math and reading night! It will be at CAM in the cafeteria from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
This will be an opportunity for you and your child to explore the math and ELA curriculums we use, preview books and math strategies, and see what your child is learning at school. There will also be fun games and activities, such as a book exchange, cake walk, raffle, and more!

Middle School
Middle School Walk-A-Thon October 18th
CAM Middle School will be holding its annual walk-a-thon on Friday, October 18th. This is ASB's largest fundraiser of the year and brings in money that is used specifically for ASB sponsored events like field trips and socials. Pledge sheets and money are due in the main office no later than Friday, October 25th. Please see your ASB representative if you have any questions.
5th-12th grade Field Trip to The Patch October 23rd
ALL MIDDLE SCHOOL PERMISSION SLIPS ARE DUE FRIDAY OCTOBER 18TH NO EXCEPTIONS.
High School is thrilled to invite you to CAM’s fall Pumpkin Patch Field Trip! It is open for students in grades 5-12. Please join us on Wednesday the 23rd from 12-2PM parents will need to drive you.. World Language Test for grades 8-12
If you speak another language other than English, you may want to take the World Language test to earn up to 4 credits toward the World Language graduation requirement and possibly earn the State Seal of Biliteracy to be awarded upon graduation.

WSU Instant Decision Day
Good morning senior families!
Mark your calendars for TODAY, October 10th at 11:15 in the CAM Library for WSUV Instant Decision Day!
Join representatives from Washington State University for Instant Decision Day. High school seniors may apply on-site and receive an admission decision on the spot!
This event is recommended for seniors with a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher. If you're not sure of your GPA, check with your college and career office! See flyer for early registration!

Blood Drive October 16th

Pizza Tuesday information
The Next Pizza Tuesday will be the 22nd of October and we will need help to make it happen! 10 volunteers each week to be exact.
On Pizza Tuesday will have punch cards for sale- $12 Pizza Cards, $8 Izze Cards or both for $20.
Cash or checks (made out to CAP) are accepted.
Feel free to use up your current punch cards from the previous school year.
