Growth Mindset
Growth Mindset vs. Fixed Mindset
A fixed mindset and a growth mindset represent two attitudes toward learning and personal development.
A fixed mindset believes that abilities and intelligence are static traits that cannot be significantly developed. Those with this mindset often avoid challenges, fear failure, and feel threatened by others’ success.
Conversely, a growth mindset holds that abilities can be developed through dedication and hard work. Individuals with this perspective embrace challenges, view failures as learning opportunities, and are inspired by others' success. Ultimately, fostering a growth mindset leads to greater resilience, enhanced learning, and increased achievement, transforming one’s approach to life and learning.
