Santa Margarita Mid-Week Message

Dear Parents,

I hope this message finds you well.

This year, our second-grade enrollment has exceeded our expectations. To ensure that all students receive the best educational experience, we have decided to place our third graders who are currently in the second/third-grade combination class into dedicated third-grade classrooms. Additionally, some second graders from the impacted second-grade classrooms will be moved to balance and reduce the 2nd-grade class sizes. Your child has been selected to be part of another class as part of this adjustment. Please be assured that all of our teachers collaborate closely, and this change will not impact your child’s access to the appropriate grade-level curriculum.

On Friday, August 30th, students will have the opportunity to meet their new teachers and familiarize themselves with their new classrooms. Classes with their new teachers will commence on Tuesday, September 3rd. As always, learning is our top priority, and we believe this adjustment will best support your child’s educational journey.

You child will be bringing home a form today with their new teacher's name and room number.

We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this transition. I am confident your child will continue to thrive and have meaningful learning experiences in their new classroom.
