What's Happening @ Eagle Hills Elementary
🗿April 2025🗿
Hello Eagle Hills Parents and Families
I trust you all had a restful Spring Break. We had a great week back at school and are now preparing for State testing and planning end-of-year events. The Idaho Standards Achievement Test (ISAT) window opens on April 7th for 3rd-5th graders. Please watch for specific testing dates from your student's teacher.
Additionally, we’ve included information below from our PTO regarding the Eagle Hills Walk-A-Thon. Please remember that all proceeds from this event go directly to supporting Eagle Hills Elementary students.
Lastly, needs-based request forms for the 2025-2026 school year are now available in the office. These forms, sometimes called parent input forms, are not required but provide parents an opportunity to share any additional information about their student that the school may not already know. The forms are due by April 23rd, so please return completed forms to the front office.
Thank you!
Curtis Anderson

ISAT Tips
The end of the year testing will begin soon as an opportunity for students to SHOW WHAT THEY LEARNED!
Testing is a positive chance for students to show off what they have worked so hard on learning this school year!
3rd-5th graders will begin taking the ISAT on April 7th. They take tests in ELA and Math, and 5th grade tests in Science as well.
Give your student a great start by making sure they get enough sleep, have a healthy breakfast, and come to school on time with all the things they need on test day (eyeglasses, headphones, water bottle).
2025 - 2026 Kindergarten Registration

5th grade Ski Night Video
Another epic ski trip! We couldn't have asked for better weather up at Bogus Basin Ski Resort! The 5th graders had such a great time hanging out together on the slopes, and many of them it was their fist time! Such an awesome night and thank you 5th graders for such a great memory!
Lost and Found
Our Lost and Found is located in the front of the school each day. If you think you are missing something, please come by and look through our growing selection. If your student's name is located on a Lost and Found item, we will return the item to the student. Uncollected items will be donated to local charities on April 10, 2025.
EAGLE HIGH BBQ
Eagle High School National Honor Society is hosting a Family BBQ on April 19 to help support the Idaho Youth Ranch. Here is a link with more information.
Attendance
Timely school attendance is one of the greatest factors in determining student academic success. With this in mind, please make every effort to have your student(s) here on time when school is in session. Eagle Hills teachers are very intentional with their lesson planning and delivery. Every absence impacts your child's learning and the learning of others in his/her class.
We realize that there are times when students need to be absent for a variety of reasons. If your child will be absent from school, please communicate with your child's teacher AND the office. The office may be reached at eaglehillses@westada.org or 208.350.4090.
Volunteer Application
All parents and family members who wish to volunteer at Eagle Hills for any reason must submit a volunteer application form and corresponding documents to our school office. If you are interested in volunteering this year, please take time to read, print, sign and return the documents listed below to the school office. You may also find hard copies of these documents here at Eagle Hills.
For more information regarding volunteer policies in the West Ada School District access the WASD Volunteer Handbook here.
After School Pick Up Process
