BACC "Outstanding Students"
The following students were selected from their programs at the Branch Area Career Center as the “Outstanding Student” for the 1st marking period:

College Acceptance Letters Galore!
- At last count, our current Seniors have received over 70 acceptance letters from colleges, universities, or trade schools that they've applied to!
Johnny's School Spirit Challenge
Bronson Jr. / Sr. High School won 2nd place in the Johnny’s School Spirit Challenge and we have been awarded $1,000 again this year! These funds will be used to support a variety of student activities across the year. Thank you to all you submitted votes in support of our school!
Athletic Success!
We had 2 student athletes earn All-State in Cross Country. Congratulations to Ava Hathaway who placed 15th and Ashlynn Harris who placed 24th.
Our Varsity Volleyball team made it to the Regional finals.
Our Varsity Football team made the playoffs.
Our Varsity Soccer team made it to the District finals.
Quiz Bowl
Our Varsity Quiz Bowl won 3rd place in the Big 8 tournament.
Junior High Youth In Government
- 16 middle school delegates attended the Michigan Youth in Government conference in Lansing
- Monica Arver & Breslyn Hoath passed and signed a bill and Audrey Shiery was named White Committee Chair of the conference
2024 SnoBall Dance
The Class of 2027 would like to invite high school students in grades 10 - 12 to this years SnoBall Dance at Bronson Jr./Sr. High School.

8:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
High School Gym
Tickets are $20 per person and are on sale now.
Grand March will begin at 8:15 p.m.
JR High Christmas Dance
Exam Week: Dec. 16th - 20th
Final exams are scheduled to take place the week of December 16th - 20th at Bronson Jr./Sr. High School. Exams are scheduled as follows:
- Tuesday, December 17th - 2nd & 5th Hour Exams
- Wednesday, December 18th - 3rd & 6th Hour Exams
- Thursday, December 19th - 4th & 7th Hour Exams
Friday, December 20th will be have half day of school for all students. BACC will be closed. All students should report to BJSHS for their regularly scheduled classes. Our Holiday Assembly organized by our BHS Student Council will take place during the morning. All students will be served lunch as well. School will dismiss at 11:20 a.m.
Holiday Break will run from December 23rd - Jan. 3rd. School will resume on Monday, January 6th.
After School Academic Support Needed?
After School Academic Support will not be available on Tuesday, November 26th.
However, After School Academic Support will resume on Tuesday, December 3rd and will continue to be available each Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. to students in 6th - 12th grades. During this time student can access homework help, support with study skills, tutoring, or simply a quiet place to work. For more information, students are encouraged to see Ms. Blemaster, Mrs. Franks, Ms. Medema, Ms. Mudd or Ms. Smith.
Viking Care Center Help is Available
Winter is here! The Viking Care Center was established as a way to give students and their families help by providing items that are needed. We currently have clothing, including some outerwear, hats, and gloves, shoes, toiletries, some food items, and some laundry products available at the school. Please have your child talk with someone here at school or feel free to contact the office about the needs your family may be facing. We would love to help!
