Cougar Courier Edition 8
Hello Antwine Families,
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of this year’s Fall Festival! 🍁🎉 From the volunteers to the staff and families, your hard work and support made it an unforgettable event. We couldn’t have done it without you! 🙌🍂 It was a PAWSome turnout!!
As we reach the end of this grading period, I want to take a moment to reflect on the hard work and achievements of our scholars, teachers, and families. This has been a time of growth, learning, and perseverance, and I am incredibly proud of the progress we’ve made as a school community.
To our scholars: You've shown tremendous effort and dedication in your studies, and your growth is evident. Whether you’ve met your academic goals or are still working towards them, remember that learning is a journey, and we are here to support you every step of the way.
To our teachers: Thank you for your unwavering commitment to our scholars. Your passion, creativity, and ability to inspire make a lasting impact. You continue to bring learning to life, and for that, we are deeply grateful.
To our families: Your partnership is invaluable. Thank you for supporting our scholars and our school, whether it's at home or through active involvement in school activities. Together, we are building a strong foundation for scholar success.
As we head into the next grading period, let’s continue to stay focused, work hard, and support one another. I encourage everyone to take a moment to celebrate your accomplishments and recharge for the exciting challenges ahead.
Thank you for being a part of our incredible community.
Wishing you all a PAWSome Week!
With gratitude,
Patricia Fernandez

Uniform Policy
Be sure to become familiar with our uniform policy.
It is the philosophy of the Socorro Independent School District and Hurshel Antwine School that scholars should maintain high standards of dress, grooming, and appearance. SISD has established the following universal uniform options to compliment the other agreed upon school uniform options:
- Khaki pants and a white polo shirt without a school logo;
- School uniform pants and a school colored polo shirt without a school logo.
- Physical education uniform bottoms (shorts or sweatpants in any color) and a white, gray, or school colored t-shirt without a school logo.
As per Policy FNCA (local), a universal uniform may be worn at any SISD School, which has elected to implement a school uniform policy.
