Dear Thacher Families:
As with all new things, we're experiencing a learning curve when it comes to our new website and app. It turns out that if you receive an alert (the little, red 1 on the app) and click on the notification, it brings you to a page that only provides the text, which means you aren't necessarily seeing everything we hoped you would. In the future, in order to see everything, click on the menu in the app and go to the Live Feed by clicking on, "Feed" or you can use a web browser to visit our homepage and scroll down to see the Live Feed.
Also, with the New England fall upon us where we often experience three seasons in one day, please make sure you children are dressed to be comfortable to be outside for recess. There is a mountain of evidence to support the importance of students having an opportunity to be outside for recess. With that in mind, as long as the "Feels like" temperature is above 20°F we will send the students outside (unless it's raining or dangerously windy, etc) each day.
